Why is my sims different colors?
I just log in after a couple of weeks and suddenly my sims is all red and white and I don’t know what’s going on, it says in unable to log into marketplace online but what does that mean? I have bought a lot of packs and kits did I lose it all or how can I get it back??
Sims 4 New Update April 17, 2026
Hello Sims Team, I have purchased almost all the Sims packs and since the update I have experienced difficulties with loading in to the game where pop-ups continues to occur as in "new content" and then the content I "own" is installed on my Xbox Series X and I can access them in my game however with the update if I use the gallary is states "unowned" but if I click on the pack in the gallary it states "owned". Why can I not download builds if I "own" the content?Constant crashing
Bought every dlc and can barely use them since travelling anywhere makes the game instantly crash, which is starting to make to game boring for me to even play, not to mention a waste of money. Saving also seems to crash the game and im losing hours of progress. Won't be buying anymore future dlcs, and after 20 years of playing sims, im close to never playing it again and just deleting it..personal gallery empty after new update
So a brief moment, I play the Sims almost every day except this last week and I heavily rely on my personal gallery for custom tattoos I've made, builds etc. going in to play my legacy save I've realised that all my saves are gone and my library is completely blank from creations I've made or from other creators. I play on PS5 so I have no mods or cc that could've broken my game. I need to know if I can retrieve my stuff back.
Center on Current Lot button misplaced on console
Button still accessible, but now you have to toggle UI select mode (or whatever you call it), navigate to Notifications and then go one step further to the right. p.s. this has been an issue since 2021 when on PC said button was moved from bottom row to the topStuck with lot I no longer want
I have an old residential rental I built a while back. Sims that owned it, long since gone from game, so doesn't show as owned. Can't buy it with a different sim (tried, wont let me), can't bulldoze it (tried, just have to exit and reload game because otherwise stuck with the spinning), can't sledgehammer it (tried, wont actually delete any of the structure), and no tenants. Am I just stuck with this existing in the world forever now? Xbox series x, so no mods.
okay so I play on Xbox One
what is going on with this game I don't even feel like playing it because it's so hard to play because nothing works and everything was fine and so I put in royalty and legacy and it's ruined everything the walls are ruined because my sim got stuck with her tenants in an apartment that's not even being rented. she's showing up to the event that is for fitness with a completely different outfit on that she's never wore before and that's not saved and I tried everything to fix all this it's a lot of stuff that's not working and I mean bad. it's unplayable practically. what are you guys going to do about this? I spend so much money on these games and I'm not spending no more until you guys fix this crap. a bunch of engineers and techies can't fix it?? I don't understand. this game has gotten completely out of control it don't work right. it doesn't work at all. fix it man. and you know what else why are there no mods for people that they can download on console I feel like it's such a horrible thing you're doing to people on console when it's absolutely downloadable.My Library gone? Hi I recently just saved a new build to my library and noticed everything I’ve had saved in the last 4-5 years are completely gone all of a sudden from my library. I have no idea what happened or how to fix this issue. It’s completely devastating knowing all my saved lots are gone! 😭 please help! I’m also receiving a system error code when trying to place a specific lot as well..
Can’t transfer funds when splitting households.
I am currently unable to split any of my funds from my main household to the new household. When clicking the arrow to transfer funds, nothing happens. When clicking on the box to manually enter the amount of funds, you’re able to enter an amount when the keyboard comes up but when hitting enter the funds stay at 0. I am playing on an Xbox series s. I do not/can’t use mods. My game is fully updated to the latest version.Freezing when idle paused
This was an issue in previous versions that was resolved but has returned after the 1.121.340 patch When paused with the pause menu open if you leave the game idle for a few minutes and return the game will not resume. You can scroll the pause menu up and down but the buttons cannot be activated, gameplay can’t resume without a hard reboot. Playing on Xbox OneNewest Update on February 4th caused a complete blackout on my PS5 console.
There was an update for the Sims 4 on my system. I updated it and my entire PS5 console had a green screen for 3 seconds, then my entire console stopped working. I had to do a manual hard reboot (unplugged the power to my console) in order to get my system back. This is NOT okay, things like this should NEVER happen especially if it was properly tested. People have payed thousands of dollars for packs and kits for this game and yet we still have to deal with rushed game packs and kits that glitch, don’t work or cause multitudes of other issues for players. Stop releasing new packs and kits, fix the game and you will still make money as new users will see the game is actually being fixed. Start from the original base game issues and then work through things pack by pack and kit by kit. The Simmers on YouTube/Twitch are not fully being honest and misleading other players. They act like things are perfectly fine, yet not one plays on a Console (only on PC) and all the issues are different depending on the “system” (PC, PS5, etc). Things are by no means fine on PC or consoles. The problems stem from issues in the original base game, packs and kits don’t work properly with the base game or other packs and kits. The packs and kits were created to ALL be played/used at the same time. As a 45 year old who has played the Sims games since it was originally released, I have noticed that not once since the beginning has anything in the base game been correctly fixed and been functional with the base game as well as ALL other packs and kits. Please just fix the game and stop releasing more Packs and kits until the game as well as the already existing packs and kits are properly and functionally fixed for once.
Camara ramdomly shaking and save crashing in ps4
In the past few weeks my game has started to be really sensitibe about the way y move the camara with my control, I play in a ps4 with the ps4 control, sometimes I try to move the camara to another place with the joysticks then my screen decides ramdomly shake non stop to the sides, in an annoying way, when this happen my control baceme unusable, I cant save, control my sims, go to manage Worlds or go to the main menu, my sims are freeze and the game do not respond so I ended up closing the game abruptly losong all my progress in my save. In the past I have try to save constantly to avoid losing progrees, but since the last uptade I cannot sace without it crashing my gameUnable to place my own lot down; just shows move house icon with no house
I'm on the PS4 so I don't have mods or cc. The houses I want to place are my own creations. When I try to place them (on seperate lots in separate worlds, on correct lot sizes, under one of my save files) I just get the move house cursor icon with no house, and a check mark under it to confirm. I hit confirm, but nothing shows up. I've tried several troubleshoot suggestions when I googled this issue. Nothing has worked. I was able to place other houses on the lot, one that was from another player and another house that was my own creation from my library. Those worked. I cleared the ps4 cache and tried placing the houses in a different lot in a different world. Still won't work. I ended up saving each room of one of the houses that didn't work in my library, and I was able to place a room. What I'm wondering is if it's because the houses that I'm trying to place have the blacked out photos. I've been away from this game for a while, so I didn't know if the black photo issue meant the lot was completely corrupted since it wouldn't let me place the entire lot. I thought maybe I could get rid of the blacked photos and resave it in the library, but I've been getting the "Timed Out" error when trying to save lots. So for the most part I can't always upload to my own library lately. I even got the "Timed Out" error when trying to save each room, but luckily they showed up in the library. So the only saved version of my houses I want to place are the ones with blacked out photos. The only solution I haven't tried was deleting the whole game and reinstalling it, but I wanted to see if I should even bother if the real issue was the blacked out photos.Can’t right click to move camera
I play on an Xbox s with a keyboard and mouse. I use the sims 3 camera and play almost daily and am used to being able to move the camera by holding down the right click on my mouse but it’s not working suddenly. It’s very annoying to have to move my cursor to the side of the screen to get it to move where I want, the sims 4 camera isn’t any better. Idk if this is a bug or an update but I hate it lol I’ve already tried closing and reopening the game and it won’t stop.
