Not being able to play with my packs.
I play on the ps5. Most of my sims4 packs are installed on an other account since that has PlayStation Plus. However now on my own account I can’t play with those packs installed on my other account. I was trying to find a way to buy the pack cats & dogs digital since my disk for it has finally died. All of my other packs are on digital, so I thought to buy it, but I literally can't find it by itself, not even in the EA store and I can only get it if I get one of the two packs it's bundled with. The problem is that I already have these packs so I'd literally be buying stuff that I already have when I just want the one pack. Over the course of the years i have spent hundred of dollars on packs and kits. Everything purchased is showing downloaded and installed on the Xbox console . Once loaded into the games majority of the packs say i have to purchase them. The game also gives me an error message stating im offline and doesn’t allow me the option to connect. I play on PS5. I stopped playing for awhile and recently got the ich to play. I downloaded the game but I'm missing all but one of my add ons.I've uninstalled ,Restored licenses ,Went to the ps store but it's telling me to buy the add ons again. I even tried to load a save but it just pops up that I'm missing packs.I even went through my past purchases on ps and it doesn't show that I bought them but I did.Does anyone have similar issues?How did you fix it?I know I had them because all of my saves says I'm missing something. I would like to uninstall and then re-install my Sims 4 game and all packs on my Xbox Series X. Is there a link anywhere to the exact instructions for this? I did it one time previously and it resolved some major issues I was having, but I can't remember the exact steps. I'm trying to figure out if its just me or everyone on Xbox console that's not getting the Sims summer sale. My brothers PlayStation gets the sale and my sisters PC gets the sale but when I wsnt to go buy some packs it only had a -10% for everything (I have Xbox ultimate game pass) so I was wondering if my pass was making it so I can't get the full sale or if it's been delayed or bugged I cant find anything about it. This has happened twice now with ONLY the island living pack. I own a disc that comes with the base game + island living. The pack was downloaded but the game says it’s not. Welp, it finally happened. :( I've been playing for six years and this is the first update to make my game unplayable. When I open the game and press X to load to the homescreen I come up with the error: "Can't connect to the server. There might have been a problem connecting to the network or to our online servers." After pressing okay I'm presented with a white screen. I'm connected to the internet and signed into playstation network, I'm not 100 percent sure if this is a bug or not. Ok so I noticed this first happening right after the fairy pack came out. So I went to play my sims game and some of my packs went missing. It started off with like maybe 2 or 3 packs missing. It won’t let me play them on the game and when looking at the packs on the game it pops up like if I never bought the packs before. But when I went to my settings on Xbox it said they was still installed and was still there. Ever sense then I tried to go back on there and play and the next time it took about 1 or 2 more packs away. I tried uninstalling the game, relinking my Xbox to my EA account, changing my EA password and relogging into my Xbox EA account. I’ve also restarted my Xbox and have unplugged it too. I honestly don’t know what to do at this point. Packs say "installed" on ps5 (2 user accounts shared these packs on same console and everything worked amazingly until yesterday) but are not showing up and showing that i need to buy again, I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled, restored licences. Missing a few DLC’s on PS5
Where do I start… so I’ve been having a few issues here and there per game session, but the real issue is after having to restart the game and load it, I noticed… a few dlc items were missing. Ever since i got an Ps5 in 2023 and downloaded sims into it, it shows that i do not own half of the expansion/gamepacks i once did. They don’t even show up in licenses when i go to check? Though if i go back to Sims4 on my Ps4, all of my packs are still there, yet they don’t simply show up as owned on my Ps5. Every time i log into Sims 4 on my Xbox, my gallery says I havent linked my EA account, even though ive gone back and unlinked it and linked it again and reset my consol, and when I go to game options and click link EA account it says Account Linked every time but it still doesnt work. Expansion pack swap??
I purchased the island living expansion pack years ago and only played it a few times but i had created and saved my mermaid sims to the gallery and they are still there so i know I'm not just going crazy when i say that the pack itself is gone and has been replaced by a different pack. When i check my purchase history i cannot find the expansion pack transaction and the pack has been replaced with jungle adventure in the list of owned packs and i know i would never have purchased jungle adventure because i find that specific pack boring and useless. I play on Xbox so i know i didn't get the pack form some subscription or whatever the internet keeps suggesting happened to my pack, I reached out to EA directly and nothing has come of it. This upsets me every time i go to play on my Xbox because that is where i have most of my expansion packs and the island living pack happened to be one of my favorites.
