Can’t load into saves
Hello! When wanting to play my usual household today it was like I had started a new save file, having to choose the season again and not having any of my sims in any world. So I closed the game again and tried to play almost every saved game/households but none of them worked. I thought it might be a mod/cc problem but I took them all out of the game and it still didn’t work. I also took out all my saves, repaired the game multiple times, and put them back in again. At some point I couldn’t even load into a new world cus I was stuck in the loading screen. My game worked just fine yesterday and it updated in the morning today and that’s when the issue started. Did anyone have the same problem before and if yes what did you do to repair it? Or if anyone has some tips please let me know! Thank you beforehand ^^
Cats and dogs not working
Ive had the cats and dogs expansion pack for several weeks, it was working just fine this morning and suddenly it stopped working, its installed, but when i go onto my game it says i cannot use the world, and its only in my library. ive reinstalled all of my expansion packs (which have no issues) and repaired everything too, deleted all cc and mods, tried to restart the games cache, and it still wont let me use cats and dogs even when it is installed
Expansion Pack Not Accessible
I purchased Enchanted by Nature several weeks ago. The game says that it has been purchased. The EA app says that it has been installed. I have tried repairing the game, uninstalling the pack, reinstalling the EA app, and clearing the cache, and have done these things several times. I do not have any mods. Yet I still do not have access to that pack in game play
Save won't load
My current save won't load. The game launches but when I click to play my current house hold I get the blue loading screen and it just stays there. It won't actually load the save. I've waited several hours on multiple occasions. I googled trying to find a solution and it said I needed to update my mods or cc but I don't play with mods or cc. The last time I was able to successfully play I added 2 horses to my household. I'm not sure if that would cause it not to load. Is there anything I can do or do I just need to start over? Thanks
Kits missing on my EA account DLCs catalog
I am a PC player. I owned The Sims 4 Country Kitchen kit for free on Marketplace. Then, I bought 1500 Moolas to purchase three more kits with a 20% discount: Restoration Workshop kit, Kitchen Clutter kit and Golden Years kit. The last 3 kits I purchased for 400 Moolas each one, so I have 300 Moolas left. Those 4 kits appear on my game, but the don't on my EA account DLCs catalog. What would happen if I delete or lose accidentally my current savefile? Would I lose those 4 kits forever? Please, fix this problem, I really need them to appear on my DLCs catalog.
Launch the Sims 4 Through EA app WITHOUT updating to latest game patch?
As the title suggests, I'm wondering if there is a way to run the sims 4 through the new EA app without being forced to update the game. This was possible to do previously using Origin, and I can't find any information online on a way to do this through the EA app. In the EA app Settings -> Downloads tab there is a way to prevent the game from automatically updating, but the game won't actually let you run it without having updated it. The reason for this would be to play with mods without having to wait for updates/sort out broken mods after every patch, if it even needs to be said.
Gallery still does not show Maker Packs used in uploads.
According to today's patch, Gallery uploads containing items used from Maker Packs are supposedly meant to show up on the Gallery however I have checked and this does not seem to be the case as it does not show items from Maker Packs or specify which Maker Packs have been used.game crashing during loading screen
my game keeps crashing during the loading screen. i have a windows 10 and i use scripted mods and cc. but removed all of them because of this crash. i removed them and i'm still having a crash and i'm still new on playing on pc since i'm a console player. any tips will be super useful.
All Sims and buildings disappeared after the March update...
First of all, I want to say that I've been playing this game for over 2,000 hours, and I'm no newbie. This issue arose after the recent update in March. The thing is, new Sims added after the update are visible, but old lots and Sims that were in the "Tray" folder before the update are not.
Sims 4 saying I can’t place something in my own gallery saying I don’t own packs
I was playing my game last night and it crashed all of a sudden, which I haven’t had issues with in a long time. I reopened it and redid the stuff I had done and hit save but later it crashed again and then as I was trying to place a lot that I had saved in my gallery that I have used before a warning message pops up, saying I do not own pack items included in the lot and after hitting place anyway, nothing shows up and is doing the same again today. Has anyone else found a solution to this problem? I own all the packs I have gone in and double check to make sure they were all installed and they are. I just had this lot on my game until it crashed and now I’m saying I can’t put down any lot because I don’t know the items in the packs when I do. Any help is appreciated! I really don’t want to reinstall this entire game because I’m going to lose a lot of progress
Game Won't Open
Every time I click the play button, the 'preparing game' message shows up, but after like 1-2 minutes, it just puts me back on the EA screen. No error message pops up after the EA screen comes back up. It started happening on 4/14. I play every day, but before I play, I always download a few mods. On 4/14, my game wouldn't open, so I updated my mods, but that didn't work. Then, I deleted all the mods I downloaded that day, but my game still won't open. I still have all my other mods, though.
Constant crashing on game startup
I have been struggling to get my game to load for 2 days now. i have been through every routine fix and nothing has worked. I have also tried factory resetting my entire computer (did not fix it), uninstalling and reinstalling the game (no fix), manually adding my graphics card to the graphics card file in the Bin folder (error message for missing graphics card came back on a fresh folder restart), reinstalled the latest update on my Nvidia graphics card (no change), as well as a host of other recommendations found online. I cannot figure it out and need help. Attached is my dxdiag and the last crash report from a fresh folder start. Please let me know if someone can figure out what the issue is. I'm sick of this. It's always, "disable your mods", etc. I don't have mods. I just want to play the game, not be a computer programmer. I always waste at least a month of my life trying to fix this and lose everything I created only to have to start again. I'm seriously sick of not being able to count on being able to play the Sims when I click on it.No sims in my game
I just started playing my game again but I kept getting "error sism4 already running". I was able to get the game to work by making a new account on my computer but then when i loaded up the game there are absolutely no sims in my game. I created a sim and put her on a lot and it said error restart game and after that I have no sim. She's not at her lot, there are no base game sims assigned lots. I can't even travel because I don't have any sims. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
my sims 4 live mode screen keeps glitching out
so i don't really know how to describe it, but i have a screenshot. i've tried repairing sims4, restarting the EA app, recovering old saves, even making new saves, restarting my computer, and checking different household saves, but nothing i've tried has worked, and all of my saved games are affected. it's been like this for literal hours to the point where the idea of launching my pc across the room is becoming increasingly desirable. please help.
