Constant crashing on game startup
I have been struggling to get my game to load for 2 days now. i have been through every routine fix and nothing has worked. I have also tried factory resetting my entire computer (did not fix it), uninstalling and reinstalling the game (no fix), manually adding my graphics card to the graphics card file in the Bin folder (error message for missing graphics card came back on a fresh folder restart), reinstalled the latest update on my Nvidia graphics card (no change), as well as a host of other recommendations found online. I cannot figure it out and need help. Attached is my dxdiag and the last crash report from a fresh folder start. Please let me know if someone can figure out what the issue is. Thanks!
Game Won't Open
Every time I click the play button, the 'preparing game' message shows up, but after like 1-2 minutes, it just puts me back on the EA screen. No error message pops up after the EA screen comes back up. It started happening on 4/14. I play every day, but before I play, I always download a few mods. On 4/14, my game wouldn't open, so I updated my mods, but that didn't work. Then, I deleted all the mods I downloaded that day, but my game still won't open. I still have all my other mods, though.Game not loading after Windows update - Again 🤬
I'm sick of this. It's always, "disable your mods", etc. I don't have mods. I just want to play the game, not be a computer programmer. I always waste at least a month of my life trying to fix this and lose everything I created only to have to start again. I'm seriously sick of not being able to count on being able to play the Sims when I click on it.
Bust the dust kit won't work
I recently purchased the Bust the Dust kit, and I can't vacuum anything with it. When I click on the vacuum, nothing happens. I also don't have the aspirations that should come with it. Is there anything that I could do to fix that? I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling the pack, but it doesn't work.
Issues w/ Gameplay
I don't know if I'll be able to state my issue clearly, but I'll try. I start up the game, hit resume game, and everything loads fine. However, once I start clicking around or try to go to a different sim, the game kind of freezes. The Sims still move; however, time has stopped. I cannot click on anything, save, or use the quit button. I have to manually shut it down using Task Manager. I've tried removing my custom content (no mods), removing old files and caches, but I have no idea what to do from this point. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! :)
All Sims and buildings disappeared after the March update...
First of all, I want to say that I've been playing this game for over 2,000 hours, and I'm no newbie. This issue arose after the recent update in March. The thing is, new Sims added after the update are visible, but old lots and Sims that were in the "Tray" folder before the update are not.No sims in my game
I just started playing my game again but I kept getting "error sism4 already running". I was able to get the game to work by making a new account on my computer but then when i loaded up the game there are absolutely no sims in my game. I created a sim and put her on a lot and it said error restart game and after that I have no sim. She's not at her lot, there are no base game sims assigned lots. I can't even travel because I don't have any sims. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
my sims 4 live mode screen keeps glitching out
so i don't really know how to describe it, but i have a screenshot. i've tried repairing sims4, restarting the EA app, recovering old saves, even making new saves, restarting my computer, and checking different household saves, but nothing i've tried has worked, and all of my saved games are affected. it's been like this for literal hours to the point where the idea of launching my pc across the room is becoming increasingly desirable. please help.

The Sims 4 STILL wont launch after latest patch 04/2026
My Sims 4 game wont launch after the March 17th-18th Patch 2026 So every time i try and play The Sims 4 it comes up with this error message: An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later. This has been going on since the latest patch and i am completely stuck, I have contacted EA support, I have read every forum post i can find, reddit, youtube videos ETC. I am not a new simmer and have been playing The Sims 4 for 11 years and have managed to navigate every issue myself until this one, I will put everything I have tried below: I cleared the cache, removed ALL mods and CC, used the repair game function twice and factory reset my game by uninstalling and reinstalling - removing any files from my hard drive and doing a full PC clean, I also uninstalled OneDrive as i heard that can cause issues My game is now a shell, completely vanilla, no mods or anything, no saves or screenshots, clear cache and this error comes up every time. Please help! ❤️
Sims 4 Game Launch Bug
My game wont launch without crashing before i can even get to the main menu. If tried repair my game, clearing the cache, restarting the ea app, and removing all mods and cc and nothing works. It keeps saying there is an error on EA's end preventing the game from launching properly. Please fix this soon
Save won't load
My current save won't load. The game launches but when I click to play my current house hold I get the blue loading screen and it just stays there. It won't actually load the save. I've waited several hours on multiple occasions. I googled trying to find a solution and it said I needed to update my mods or cc but I don't play with mods or cc. The last time I was able to successfully play I added 2 horses to my household. I'm not sure if that would cause it not to load. Is there anything I can do or do I just need to start over? Thanks
