How do I fix this ugly anti aliasing on floors?
Hello there all, I have a bit of an issue with my anti aliasing.... it used to be able to be fixed in nvidia inspector, by using Sparsegrid AA x8 and MSAA also on x8, I have the anti aliasing fix on and the compatibility bits on ( I think). However my anti aliasing on floors is absolutely ugly. Also on plants. My AA in game is also on. If you look you see that the part nearest to your view is fine, its the part after thats jagged. I added attachments for my nvidia inspector settings + my issue. I play on everything maxed out, btw. 2560x1440p RTX 4060 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 2x8GB 3200MHz windows 11, 25h2 Hope someone can help me out!
Flashing white screen and game crash
Hello, I've got a problem since a few days. No matter what I do in the game (CAS, Gameplay or Build mode), the screen start flashing white and after stay on white screen. I must force restart the computer. I dont use any CC or mod. Yesterday I reinstalled all the game properly and update all the drivers. I've got a good computer for the sims. Today the problem is still here, I'll try to make a new part and it happened 4 times in the CAS. It isn't possible to play like that. Everytime I have to restart everything. Thanks to you. I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have been trying to get this game to work for like 3 days now. I don’t have an amazing computer just a windows laptop with windows 11 that used to run sims 4 just fine. I deleted the app for awhile but i just tried to redownload and play 3 days ago and it will not let me play for more than 5 minutes without crashing. I checked my graphics driver and everything else it seemed like i needed to check but it still doesn’t work. it seems like my computer is compatible so im just kinda stumped right now. I also took all of my mods out so i know it’s not an issue with any cc or mods. at least i think so lol. anyways any advice would be deeply appreciated!!!!!!Helppp please
Hi guys! I moved my sims game to a hard drive a while ago, I ended up having lots of trouble with it most recently and FINALLY I was able to get it to work. I decided to buy a few more packs and now they won’t download. Correction- I had 2 expansion packs download but when trying my stuff packs it keeps pausing randomly, or saying this folder doesn’t exist. Please can someone else. I’ve done everything under the sun. I’ve changed the names, the paths, deleted, redownloaded . Deleted certain folders, cleared cache, got a new cord, tried different ports. I don’t understand this. I can’t, I’m so exhausted I’m just annoyed becuase I just spent over $60 bucks and now I can’t play the stuff I want. If there’s anybody that went through this that can help me out I’d appreciate it so much.
Sims 4 crashed my PC
Platform: PC Mods: Normally yes, but currently removed. Game version: Latest version 1.120.117.1030 Hello guys, I’m at the point where I’m ripping my hair about about this and don’t know what to do. I have a relatively new PC still, a little over one year old which runs smoothly otherwise and with any other game. And I haven’t had any issues running Sims 4 before. But after not playing for a while I decided to play a bit yesterday, everything seemed fine, FPS where high and the game ran smoothly as usual. Then suddenly everything froze, including the mouse and everything, then the whole PC crashed. Understandably, I was shocked, my PC has never crashed like that before. And I’d played another game just fine right before (Wuthering Waves.) Regardless I rebooted again, thinking it might’ve just been a coincidence. Decided to run task manager on my other monitor just to keep an eye on things, the workload and temps were still good. But yet again, the game crashed a second time when I tried to run it. In addition, the game stood on the start screen for almost a whole twenty minutes while I was googling things, and monitoring everything without crashing. But the moment I entered a lot and started doing things it crashed again. So after that I spent all of yesterday trying to figure things out. I’ve done everything I know, reinstalling Nvidia Drivers, updated a Windows driver I’d missed, cleared my storage, did some repairs, removed all mods and started a new save file. Yet I didn’t dare open the game again last night, though I sat and played Red Dead Online and then Star Stable Online for the rest of the entire evening with no issue. So while some suggestions online pointed to a PSU issue? That seems unlikely since other games run fine? Since it’d ideally get ”overloaded” then too. And so, this morning I once again decided to finally try after everything I did yesterday, no mods, clean save and everything. Thought it was going good at first since I could make a sim, go into manage worlds and even move them into a lot. Even placed down a lot from the gallery. Then just to see, I left the game for a moment while I went to do something else for like ten minutes. And once I got back game had frozen my whole PC again, completely unresponsive but RGB and fans are still running. So had to shut it down on the power button, not ideal. But yeah, I’m getting quite confused and scared at this. On one hand it doesn’t happen in other games, but on the other hand the whole PC crashing is worrisome. Just wondering if anyone’s had any thing similar happen or might have an idea? Easy to say, I’m pretty scared of touching the game now. I know this has been posted before, but I can't find anything newer than 4 years old, and technology changes rapidly. Does anyone have any recommendations for a set up to play the Sims 4 (and future games) with all packs, along with lots of mods and cc? I have a Macbook right now and it's not cutting it. The graphics are getting bad, and my game is getting slow. I would really like to get into storytelling and sharing these stories on YouTube and other social media. So I guess I am also asking what would be a good set up that would run the game with the above, along with the necessary creative tools to edit photos and videos. (I can always use the Macbook for the editing, but just in case there is something out there that handles both well, I thought I'd ask!) Hi! I’ve recently been looking for a non-gaming laptop that is suitable for the sims 4, with mods, cc and the game packs. Is having a non-gaming laptop the best? why is my sims 4 keep freezing before i even get to create my people? no i do not have any mods or cc downloaded at all for some reason it won’t work i have deleted the ea app, and also deleted sims redownloaded them even repaired both of the app & they are still not working. someone PLEASE help me i am begging. also why does sims 3 cost near to 20$ anyone know a way i can get it for free or anything? send helpWhere do I install the Sims 4
Okay so I couldn't save my sims game anymore because there wasn't enough space on my drive. I looked into it and apparently I installed my sims game on my school's one drive (i don't go to school anymore so if anyone knows how to uninstall that please let me know too). But anyway i uninstalled my sims game to re-install it on a different location on my PC. The game started up just fine. Now when i wanted to add all my CC it didn't work, it also looked different then i'm used too. Now i tried different location ect but it still looks like that. (see picture below). Can someone please help me out on what i'm doing wrong, and how to fix it.Won't let me play, telling me I NEED to use steam in order to play
Hello, My EA account shows The Sims 4 as a Steam-only entitlement. The base game is free, but the EA App forces Steam and will not allow download. Please add the standalone EA App entitlement for The Sims 4 and remove the Steam-only restriction. Thank you.
How Do I get them back in my game?
I wasnt sure if I needed to put this here or CC. So I unsynced my one drive, and it removed some of my sims 4 files, mostly mods and cc I think, I did see some tray there too though (as long as most other thigns in my documents) I've managed to restore them but I dont know how to get them back into my game, and how to get everyhting out of one drive before I delete it! Help would be much much appriciated I am so stressed right nowplease help, translucent white circles that move with the camera
like said in title, they are stationary white circles. I have tried just about everything :( Edit: i believe it is the fence that is causing it, when i rebuilt the porch with full walls and it went away but i cant have a fence? doesn't make since.
Snowy escape - "shout and listen to echo together" interaction crashes game
I am playing the hike on Snowy Escape in Yukimatsu and the game crashes whenever the "shout and listen together" interaction is selected. I am playimg with 2 sims and the second sim's queue suddenly became spammed with this interaction many times. I took a screenshot before my game crashed. The hikes are also generally buggy in general and I am also having issues with nothing happening when clicking either option of "collect" or "make a wish" on the forest spirits. No mods installed.
Purchased Game Packs Not Showing In-Game / Not Selectable in Pack Selection
Hi, I’m having an issue with The Sims 4. My Game Packs appear as installed in the EA App (The Sims 4 > Manage > Add-Ons) but in the game they do not show up in the Pack Selection screen, so I cannot use them. I own The Sims 4 on both Steam and EA, but it is currently only installed through the EA App, and the DLC was purchased on EA, not Steam. I have already tried restarting the EA App and my PC, repairing the game, logging out and back in, and uninstalling and reinstalling The Sims 4, but nothing helped. I am using Windows 10 on PC, with the latest version of the EA App and an up-to-date version of The Sims 4. Please help me restore access to the packs I purchased. Thank you.
