No memory Crash Issue
I've tried possibly EVERYTHING to fix this issue. Legit going insane at this point ahhh, usually i wouldn't care but i'm in my sims mood again and I've spent a lot of money on this game as well. It will start up and then get to the loading screen and then will freeze once the sim symbol gets next to the S, I will hear the music for a bit and then it crashes and pops up with "Unable to start: The game has run out of memory. [223471fd:0d5ce4eb:000000c8:00000000]. If anyone could pass down some wisdom and help a fella out with ideas to me I would really appreciate it!
My packs are all missing from the new update that I had for years
So I’m wondering what’s going on cause as I turn my game login in he says I don’t have any of my packs that I had for years cause of this **bleep** update. Like I been playing the sims for the longest and for the update to just say I don’t have any packs is insane EA you guys need to do something about this cause it’s not fair at all to people who already sent their money for things.help me choose
Hello, i’m looking for a new pc bc my laptop can't hold up anymore and i was wondering, is the new iMac a good option for sims 4? considering i want to play with pretty much all the expansions + mods / cc? o should i get a standard gaming pc? I love the apple design but if I have to spend that amount of money and then continue to have problems playing then no ..
Royalty & Legacy Pack refuses to install content into game / "Deactivated"
Clearly from looking around there's been some kind of an ongoing issue with packs installing. I preordered Royalty & Legacy a while ago and have been busy. Finally I remembered it released and have been trying to play it to no avail. Pack shows as "Deactivated". Installed / bought it entirely through the EA app. The map shows up in Manage Worlds / Travel, but grayed out saying it'll be available once it installs. Don't see any content in CAS, though when using the filter and filtering by packs, it shows up as a grayed out option. Things I have tried after troubleshooting online, to no avail: -Have uninstalled and reinstalled the pack. -Have uninstalled and reinstalled the entirety of Sims 4. -Have tried clicking on it through the Marketplace using the "My Collections" method I've seen online (I don't know why this is suggested. I click on the pack and it's not like there's some kind of option to re-enable it, it just takes me to the in-game store page that tells me I already own it.) -Have run repair on The Sims 4 -Have naturally restarted my computer over the last week or so just casually hoping for / waiting for a patch that would fix a what's clearly a rampant problem on the developer side. Any fixes?
Gallery issues
I had 5-6 houses uploaded in the gallery. I haven't played the game for like 2-3 months but I started again recently. There are only two of my houses left in the gallery now and only one of them shows on my profile. When I try to upload another one, it shows as uploaded but I can't find it through the search engine or even on my profile. I tried to upload another house again and feature it on my profile and it worked... but it deleted one of the two houses that were already in the gallery. The repair option did nothing for me. No mods, no cc.
The Sims 4 language issue (game fully in English despite French settings)
Hello, I am experiencing a language issue with The Sims 4. My game is set to French, but the entire game appears in English (menus, texts, and gameplay elements). This issue persists even after updating and repairing the game. Could you please help me fix this problem? I have attached screenshots showing that my game is set to French, but appears in English in-game. Thank you in advance.
PLEASE HELP! game keeps crashing after exiting CAS
current game version: 1.121.372.1220 playing on a mac desktop that hasn’t been updated due to storage if that matters lol. tons of cc & mods, about 10,000 files/packages im new to playing on pc/mac & cc, mods etc. any mod thats free to download i pretty much have installed in my game lol. hi, im currently playing offline due to people saying the new update(s) caused issues so since the feb/march update i have been playing offline. but about 2 days ago i got a notification while playing saying to “log back in” because the ea app no longer recognizes me so i was forced to update the EA app. i, again, didn’t update the sims 4 game so i just continued playing offline. i was fine playing up until i’d say 11:30 pm april 17 to today (1 am currently). i was in CAS just fine, added a shirt to my sim then exited CAS just fine. then i downloaded chingyu’s 100 traits mod, loaded my game late yesterday, went into CAS & added some traits to the current household i was playing with. exited CAS where my game then crashed. i figured it was the chingyu mod (people said their game was working fine so i decided to try..) so i removed it & downloaded a mod from a different creator (traits mod by klimter & maplebell also morekisses mod by maplebell) did the same thing, went into CAS, left then crash. removed all of those new mods i downloaded & the same thing happened :( i really dread having to do the 50/50 mod especially now that i have over 10k files of mods & cc. if i do then so be it. but i genuinely don’t know what the issue is. i also got a LE each time i loaded into that save “Server\objects\components\fishing_location_component.py” i have no idea what that means. no broken mods were listed nor did it say why & what mod or cc caused it, if it did i again dont know how to read it. :( struggling trying to understand the LE texts & cant send these problems into any discord server due to “outdated game version” which is understandable, but again theres been issues with the recent update & i haven’t updated my mods since the feb or march update. if i need to send the lastcrash.txt, gameversion or any LE scripts please let me know! if anyone knows what causes this or why its crashing please help!!! any help would be appreciated!! thank u in advance. <3My Sims 4 start problem solved!!
Remember when my Sims 4 game wouldn't start earlier? What I did was this: I just restarted my PC and then shut down and turned it back on. The "Manage Game Download" thing for the base game was now back to normal, so it worked! Thanks to the internet search I did. I consider that problem solved, in case this ever happens again (for now).Fail to launch the game after the update
Yesterday's update broke my game, I can't even play my game now. I play with mods in my game, I know the whole thing what to do before updating with mods and after. I removed all my mods from my folder and deleted the old MC expection. and update my mods after the update. without the mod, I did the test run without any mods, everything looked fine then I exited the game without saving. I add back my mods in the game when I want to move my sims to a new house. I get a warning that says " can't load needed to relaunch the game". so I did but when I did the same thing I got the same warning so I removed my mods and repaired them without my mods. I checked the second time it was giving the same warning. I didn't know what to do I repaired my game and even restarted my computer and nothing is working. My game was fine before the update now I can't even play the game.Why do I have 2 installs of the game?
I was clearing up some space on my PC, and for some reason I have 2 Sims 4 in my apps list. Not 2 folders. 2 apps. And one is 72GB??? I just tried launching my game, and the date only updated on the bottom one, not the top. Does that mean I can delete the top one? I don't want to loose any of my saves, but 72gb is a good chunk of storage to get back.
Can’t load into saves
Hello! When wanting to play my usual household today it was like I had started a new save file, having to choose the season again and not having any of my sims in any world. So I closed the game again and tried to play almost every saved game/households but none of them worked. I thought it might be a mod/cc problem but I took them all out of the game and it still didn’t work. I also took out all my saves, repaired the game multiple times, and put them back in again. At some point I couldn’t even load into a new world cus I was stuck in the loading screen. My game worked just fine yesterday and it updated in the morning today and that’s when the issue started. Did anyone have the same problem before and if yes what did you do to repair it? Or if anyone has some tips please let me know! Thank you beforehand ^^Cats and dogs not working
Ive had the cats and dogs expansion pack for several weeks, it was working just fine this morning and suddenly it stopped working, its installed, but when i go onto my game it says i cannot use the world, and its only in my library. ive reinstalled all of my expansion packs (which have no issues) and repaired everything too, deleted all cc and mods, tried to restart the games cache, and it still wont let me use cats and dogs even when it is installed
Expansion Pack Not Accessible
I purchased Enchanted by Nature several weeks ago. The game says that it has been purchased. The EA app says that it has been installed. I have tried repairing the game, uninstalling the pack, reinstalling the EA app, and clearing the cache, and have done these things several times. I do not have any mods. Yet I still do not have access to that pack in game playgame crashing during loading screen
my game keeps crashing during the loading screen. i have a windows 10 and i use scripted mods and cc. but removed all of them because of this crash. i removed them and i'm still having a crash and i'm still new on playing on pc since i'm a console player. any tips will be super useful.
