The Sims: Legacy Collection – UI and Map Background Issues
The 1920x1080 resolution differs from all others with a smaller UI and a more zoomed-out camera, also at resolutions higher than 1920x1080, the blue background in map mode is missing, and there is just blackness around the map I don't use any mods or CC in my game
Sims 1 Legacy Crashing
Just bought the birthday bundle to get both the original Sims and Sims 2. I started playing the original Sims and only got maybe an hour in before the game crashed. Booted it up again and had the same issue. My computer is on Windows 11. The first time it crashed while I was creating a family. The second time was while I was in buy mode.
1080p TinyUI issue is still remains
The 1080p interface scaling is still not fixed. The resolution changer you just released is not a solution. Don't decieve people. What you are offering is just a tool to lower or increase the resolution, but this is not a solution for those who want to use their monitors in native 1080p resolution. We do not want to change the resolution or the aspect ratio of the monitor. Because these are LCDs, not CRTs. Lowering the resolution will give jagged edges, poor rendering performance and blur the image. Please RELEASE THE CORRECT NATIVE SCALING PATCH FOR 1080p.
The Sims 1 Legacy fails to work properly on AMD graphics cards
Me and a lot of people who have AMD GPU's are reporting MAJOR performance drops into the low 10's in frames when more than 3 Sims are on a lot, or more apparent in a Community lot, I hope this issue can get fixed because the game is unplayable in this state.
Sims (1) Legacy edition Turning off expansion packs
There appears to be no way to allow the user to select which expansion packs they want to use in the legacy edition. I contacted customer support and they directed me to this forum. If anyone else would like to see an option to turn on and off expansion packs as desired, please upvote this as support suggested the more upvotes the more chance they will be able to fix this. Thank you for any support
CAS Icons not accurate to Original
Hey, another issue, although minor, the CAS Icons have been updated and are not accurate to the original ones. Here’s what one of the child Sim and adult Sim’s portraits look like in both Original and Legacy: The child Sim’s portrait is way too zoomed out and on larger displays it can be difficult to see the Sim’s face.
