Looks like AI? That is because it is... But if AI can do that then surely we should be allowed to as well? Just imagine being able to build all that and edit it as you like and play with those Sims? Now that would be awesome!23Views0likes0CommentsYour biggest LGBTQ+ fans are getting married!
Dear EA games/Maxis/Sims Creators, We are having our wedding ceremony this spring and we just wanted to thank EA games/the Sims for bringing so much meaning into our lives. We met online in 2018 and dated for a few years in a long distance relationship with one of us in Scotland and the other in America. Through thick and thin, in a world that is not always nice to people like us, EA games has remained our constant happy place. No matter our hardships, we can always look forward to the next time we game. Our lowest moment was during COVID, when we could not see each other for more than a year because both countries had different visit restrictions. One of us could not leave her house in Scotland as everyone was under lockdown. The other had to work constantly daily on her feet with a N95 mask on for 15+ hours a day as an essential healthcare worker. This was when the Sims really became not only a virtual place but the only place we could build a life together, the glimmer of hope we needed. We were immersed in a fantasy world that would one day cross over into our real lives. Every day we would play and create homes together, live life together, build potential futures. It was so much more than a game for us and we will never forget. Thank you for creating a platform so we could stay connected even when the world was keeping us apart and thank you for making life bearable when it was not; for playing such a big part in our lives (pun intended)! Appreciate everything that you are, Aimee and JoLifeofTamilton11 days agoSeasoned Traveler77Views2likes1CommentCan I use The Sims 4 screenshots as visuals for my website?
I am a graphic design student developing an interactive, dollhouse-themed website dedicated to sustainable fashion and conscious consumption. Currently, I am struggling to find suitable furniture and background PNGs to construct the digital rooms. I am writing to ask if it would be acceptable to use screenshots of furniture from The Sims 4 for this purpose. The website will not be monetized; if the project gains traction in the future, it would likely only include standard banner ads, which aligns with EA's fan content policy. Would repurposing The Sims 4 assets be permissible for this specific educational project? I have attached a screenshot of the current website draft for context. Dear Sims Development Team, I am reaching out to share a concept for a future update or expansion that focuses on evolving the social mechanics within The Sims 4. While the current gameplay offers a deep solo experience, there is a massive opportunity to bridge the gap between life simulation and modern social media. The idea is to develop an integrated "Sims Social" platform where the game itself acts as the primary medium for real-life interaction. The core features of this update would include: Live Social Interaction: Creating a seamless way for players to visit other users' lots in real-time, allowing for authentic "hang outs" and meetups. Integrated Communication: A robust, in-game chat and social interface that mimics the feel of a modern social network, letting players connect through their Sims' lives. Persistent Social Connectivity: Shifting the focus toward living through your Sim as a digital avatar to interact with friends, attend virtual events, and build community in a shared, lived-in world. The Sims has always been about telling stories. By allowing players to interact more directly within each other’s spaces, you would be taking the next logical step in making the game a true "real-life" social experience. Thank you for your time and for everything you do to keep the world of The Sims growing. Best regards, JaneThaGamer47Views0likes0CommentsSims Medieval won't open
I've had a physical copy of "The Sims Medieval" for over a decade now, and previously, it ran just fine on my desktop PC. I stepped away from it for a while, stopped playing, but when I found "Pirates and Nobles", I downloaded it and tried to boot up the base game, but it refuses to open now. I've tried everything to get it to run, but it won't, it just sits at my desktop homepage, and doesn't show it running at all in Task Manager. I did a full uninstall-reinstall, and it didn't work, it still won't open. My PC is running Windows 8, if that at all helps. If anyone's got any words of wisdom, that'd be appreciated!124Views0likes5CommentsAfter spending hours building the perfect Sim family

Well, the title is self-explanatory. 😉 Which is a Sims pack (in all the installments: The Sims, The Sims 2, The Sims 4, and The Sims 4) that you disliked in the beginning but grew to love absolutely? What would you change about it, or not? Please let me know in the comments below! Hey, everyone! I wanted to start this discussion as soon as I remembered how much I love the "Change One Word Game" discussion thread that has been running for many years in this forum. There is only one rule: just change up to two words of the sentence with anything related to The Sims franchise. For example: the name of a pet, the name of an Expansion Pack, Game Pack, or Stuff Pack, the name of a Sims household, lore, mysteries, whatever have you. "Bella Goth is an ongoing mystery" could become "The Sims 4 Werewolves are an ongoing mystery". To make it easier, you could change one or two words, depending on context and grammar. Have fun! 😄 I will start. Vampire Sims love to unleash their powers.thatsme_ever1 month agoSeasoned Ace146Views0likes6Comments- 12JEREMIA1 month agoRising Ace79Views5likes1Comment

Life Skills for Special Needs Young Adults
Hello. I am new to The Sims and I have a special needs teen who is becoming a young adult. There has to be a massive community of us wondering if there might be a version of Sims where we can benefit from for teaching life skills and routine social encounters. Things we are looking for include errands at different types of stores, taking cabs or public transportation, doing routine chores, pet care, using good manners, cooking, safety, mild interpersonal challenges, polite social interactions, and perhaps interactions with librarians, police, firefighters, dentists, and doctors. Things we are hoping to avoid is material of complex relationship interactions, suggestive or mature, combativeness, and introducing ideas of mischief that could get an adult with autism, social, or judgment-making deficits from getting into potentially serious issues. For example, definitely do not want to train impressionable minds how to make firemen come to our houses! Can you suggest a version of The Sims that would be ideal for just teaching life skills, family, and community interactions? Maybe there are settings that can be adjusted or an expansion pack that would suit our needs? If not, what if there was an "expansion pack" that simply trimmed the more complex relational features of a base game? We can really see the potential value of Sims for allowing those with special needs to process, practice, and repeat grown-up responsibilities, self-care, social situations, and how to respond to safety issues. Thank you! Special Needs Dadtw1nhzemw9891 month agoRising Newcomer99Views0likes3CommentsWhat mysteries in The Sims series are your favorite?
And what are your headcanons surrounding all or any of them? I don't know all the mysteries of the Sims Series but I do like the Villareal Family Mystery and what happened to Bella Goth. Also, I feel like the Mysteries page on Fandom is incomplete if anyone could let me know of other mysteries it doesn't include? It would be nice to fill that out a bit more. ---- My headcanon on the Villareal Family is that Mrs. Villareal was bitten by Vladislaus Straud, a vampire and quickly realized she felt the urge to drain her children and husband dry so she left to protect them. She changed her name and became Miss H*ll (Marybell Smith) as a partial reference to feeling bad about being away from her family but knowing she had the responsibility to never see them again. She sired Hugo and Max Villareal. Luna Villareal came around when Bella Goth disappeared and lost her memory. Between the time she was abducted and arrived in Strangetown, aliens combined Jacques' DNA after abducting him for a few nights and driving him insane, with Bella's and created Luna who was left on Jacques' doorstep but the aliens always watched out for her to document anomalies for their experiment as well as to protect her from danger. This is intended as a continuance of Jacques Villareal's WifeKillerRaven1251 month agoRising Vanguard91Views1like1CommentSims Medieval - Can't launch
I have owned, redeemed the codes and played the Sims Medieval for years through the EA app with no issue, including on Windows 11, and now I cannot get it to launch. (PC, Windows 11) Any time I try to open the game, it gives me the error message: "An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.". I tried: repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, creating the powershell file, deleting documents folder, running as administrator, running compatibility mode Windows 7, running compatibility mode Vista, clean boot, trying to download the game on a different administrator user, uninstalling and reinstalling EA app, EA app recovery. I don't recall if there is anything else I tried, I have been trying for over a week now. I did notice something in my game library: under this game's page, I can see I own both the base game and the Pirates and Nobles dlc, but I still get the option to 'Purchase the game'. I tried contacting support, they kept moving me from agent to agent until one finally saw there was a problem in my registration of the game: " The system still behaves as if you don't fully own the content", (when answering if the code doesn't help): "No it will not, since as I have checked you already owe this game. " They tried forwarding the case to another team and told me to wait for it to be resolved, but it keeps getting closed and still saying 'unresolved', and every time I try to reach them again I have to convince them I already tried all the troubleshooting methods and explain the registration problem, which I still do not understand. Again, this game has been redeemed and perfectly playable thorough the EA app for years until suddenly there is now a problem with it not being fully registered as 'owned'. I'm posting here as was told by the support. I don't know how else to fix this problem, or who to contact to correct how the system reads this.elindana961 month agoRising Novice141Views0likes1Comment
