MySims game blocked: prospecting fails in Town Square cave
Bug to track. If anyone has a workaround, I'd be delighted. EA support case number #229455444 iPad mini 6; iPadOS 26.1; Apple Arcade MySims Problem: Prospecting doesn't work in the cave in Town Center, which blocks me from completing the game Symptoms: After tapping the button to enter prospecting mode, I get the dark blue "nothing here" feedback circles everywhere in the cave. I can successfully prospect in the outside area near the Town Square orchard. Things I've tried: * creating a new character: all three of my save files have the same problem, which means they all are blocked from completing the game * restarting the app: no change * manually saving while in the cave: no change * getting closer to the prospecting crystal start object or changing my orientation before entering prospecting mode: no change Oddity: Prospecting succeeded for my second character immediately after opening the cave. But the next time I visited the cave, prospecting failed as described above. Attachment: zip file containing the three save files located in iCloud. First try is save location #3, second try is save location #1, third try is file #2. the sims medieval is unplayable
so far, with every quest i've encountered, there has been a bug that has made it impossible to progress. made the mistake of decorating my own castle, because that made the messenger post UNUSABLE. got the responsibility to send a guildmaster to the stocks, had them there but the game didn't register it thus FAILING it. tried to marry my build master, but kept getting cold feet because i dared to NOT use the church despite the game telling me it was an option. somehow fixed that just to have my husband UNABLE TO COME TO THE CASTLE to consummate the marriage. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. the game has been out for over a decade and there's still bugs? are you not embarrassed?!? and to add insult to injury, the amount of time I WASTED trying to fix these problems, i've now played it past the hours allowing me to RETURN THIS ABHORRENT MESS to get my MONEY BACK. shame on you, EA. shame on you.Looking for people to take a Sims 4 UI survey!

So first off, I have the physical disk of this game and it seemed like everything went fine while installing. It updated after the install, launches the launcher, click play, then nothing. Tried doing the intel 13 patch and a notepad code that seemed to help others, but no luck. I've spent a few hours trying to figure this out but I'm not very tech savvy so I would appreciate any advice! I used to really love this game and enjoyed it enough that I got an external CD drive just do I could play it again! Anyway, thanks in advance for any help!Looking for friends who love The Sims
Hi everyone, I'm Nina, 29 years old and I've played The Sims since childhood, but I'm new to this forum. The reason I'm writing this message right now is because I'd love to connect online or IRL with someone who also loves playing The Sims. I'd love to share my enthusiasm for the game and to share stories about our Sims games with each other. My gameplay style is playing with realistic households, I'm not a big fan of occult Sims. And besides The Sims I love being social, watching movies, helping people and being creative. Sims medieval can't install
I'm trying to install the sims medieval but installation fails at 96/97% every time with the below error: Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue I have tried running the vc redistributable .exe(s) from the install folder and repairing each but it isn't fixing the issue. I have also cleared the EA app cache and tried installing programs directly from the MS website
Sims medieval service initialization failed (0x0175d824)
I downloaded The Sims Medieval from the EA app but it won't open and keeps giving me "service initialization failed (0x0175d824)" error every time I try to launch. I've already tried: Changing resolution in options.ini Using alder lake patch Repairing through EA App Uninstalling and reinstalling Deleting TSM folder after uninstalling and then reinstalling again Using PowerShell to launch Changing in task manager to only use one CPU Running as administrator I have a 12th gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U, Windows 11, and I use an Intel graphics card on my laptop. I don't know much about computers so if any more info is needed please let know! I hope someone has a solution, it's so frustrating that I've spent money on it just for it not to work right out of the box. ☹️ Any help is appreciated, thank you! so frustrating having spent a lot of money buying the sims collection for only a select few of the codes to work. They've re-released sims 2, i have most of the collection but none of the codes work! So i'd have to rebuy them just to play it on the app. Money grabbing at its finest, they aren't very helpful on the chats either which is disappointing.Sims 3 on PLAYSTATION 5 and XBOX series X

Hello, fellow Simmers (and, hopefully, EA management)! So, I've noticed a recurring trend that the old 2003 PS2 game "The Sims: Bustin' Out" had been a source of many nostalgic memories for multiple players on the EA Forums. I haven't played it myself; in fact, I only went looking for gameplay footage of the game AFTER reading about it on the Sims series' official TV Tropes page. But from what I've read and seen of the game, I can see the charm it has, and even if it's a bit rough around the edges (and even THAT's to be expected for an old console spin-off of a series designed for PC), I want to say that it actually looks pretty good. I want to go play Bustin' Out and take the old twist of a Sims game with a story mode out for a spin myself, but the available torrent/emulator sites are a bit too sketchy for my tastes. So, I'm taking to the EA Forums to buzz this request into EA's ear yet again, for myself and everyone who grew up playing The Sims' wacky and edgy PS2 spin-offs. Could we please have a remake of The Sims: Bustin' Out? Preferably for the PC? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, GeraltsFace.

Don't know if you are aware but merch can be purchased at The Sims Shop.com for the 25th anniversary of the Sims. I just got a deep purple sweatshirt with electric green embroidered icons and a deep blue tshirt with the 25th logo. They are both so pretty! I wasn't expecting the good quality or how comfy the items are. If you like sims merchandise or are into 25th anniversary pins, check them out! I swear I don't work for EA (LOL) or for a retailer. I was just so pleased with the two items I thought others should know!Bring back spin off versions of Sims
Growing up I absolutely loved playing The Sims but my fondest memories aren’t from the main game itself, it was from playing Sims Urbz, Bustin out, Castaway and all the other brilliant spin off versions of the game, they were absolutely brilliant and worth every penny. considering EA has just announced they will not be making a Sims5 when people have spent so much money on Sims4 already which is fair but I think this opens up the opportunity to create these spin-off versions once again as I know for a fact I would buy them just for the nostalgia on its own. This is something I strongly believe should be considered for future content!
