The new update is awful
So ever s8nce the update I have been kicked off several times. Building time is costing more than double the lifestyle points. And every task I am completing i get kicked off mid task and everything has reset . So ive lost progress and can5 complete events bc I continuously have to start over . Is anyone else having this issue ?Technical Issues
I am having technical issues, in which my game keeps knocking me out and the action I my Sims doing are now being forced to redo them. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, I have tried to clear the cache and even deleted other games that wasn't playing anymore to make more space just in case that could have been the issue but my game is do the same. I need help on what to do.Events
Does anyone else find some of these events just stupid? I have so many things to do when events come up that take up all my time that I can’t finish other things because it’s spent doing these time consuming and takes so many sims. I find the crafting events especially stupid because you have to constantly craft and sacrifice sleeping for a few days or you lose out. Maybe if we didn’t need so many pottery or the 4 sims working on it could make more in an 8 hour period instead of the 500+ like they do the glass or jewelry. I stayed awake way later than I should because of it and I still almost didn’t make it in time. I don’t know about anyone else but trying to do other things and fun things goes out the door when we’re constantly hit with events especially all at the same time. I still have all the downtown development, the sandy springs happiness and a bunch more to do that I can’t seem to get done and I have all this available housing, but can’t add any more sims to try to do it. Also, why does it take 20+ hours to clean sand reorganize a fridge or anything like that? That’s just crazy.
New features & issues to fix
New features I believe a couple of things should be added on the game that could add a little “oumf”. Character’s POV: I believe it’d be a great idea to implement completing actions or just walking around in your characters POV. I believe it’d make it interesting. For example; when you’re at a job, when you take your car for a ride, when you interact with the characters child. Yes the actions would be repetitive but I believe it would add a little bit of life to the game Body customization: I love the fact that they’ve added more skin tones and stuff but I believe it’d be great to also be able to customize the body type. To create more unique characters. Also, in this forum I’ve seen someone point out that more styles should be included and I believe it’s true. African, Asian, South Asian, Native american and such. Something that would help you make your sons more unique. Adding friends: My SimsFreeplay used to be linked to my FaceBook account where I had a couole of friends but since then they’ve all delted them and I don’t have any. Although I appreciate that the other town has now had an upgrade, it’d be great if we could add friends by username. Even have a section where we could chat, give each other tips and stuff. Weather: I know we can control the weather with the weather machine but it’d be nice if there was a button where the weather you want would be applied throughout the whole game. It doesn’t make sense to rain or snow in one house while the house next door is sunny. I believe it should be through the whole game. So then it would make more sense when some of my characters are dressed for the holidays when there’s snow. Updates instead of events: Although I appreciate having event I feel like we’re bombarded with them. I stopped doing some because I believe they’re pointless. The SimChase thingy I just don’t bother with it. The craft event sometimes I try but it’s too much and require too many Sims and for what??? Some other events that give you the option to have L shaped rooms, move your car lot, and more, I believe should just be added as an update after a certain time. I won’t lie to you, I’ve had this game for years but with school and then work I didn’t have time to advance as much as I would’ve wanted. So I couldn’t do these types of event and until now I still don’t have access to these features and I can’t afford to do start the even. ”Issues” to fix WHAT’S GOING ON WITH THESE PRICES!? Houses at a minimum of 3,000,000. An empty lot at about 1.5M. Like huh??? I can’t build more buildings, community centers, and stuff due to these prices. To be able to level up I have to?? I still haven’t build the high school downtown due to the prices, I’m basically a sitting duck. I understand that making a purchase into the game with your real money is beneficial but **bleep**! Life Goals: I don’t know, I feel like the most beneficial and easy life goals are the sporty, geeky, and entertainers one. You just bring then to work as an athlete, scientist, or at the movie studio and voilà the work is done. The other ones, I’m sorry but they’re a pain in the … Hobbies: I promise some hobbies were made just so we don’t finish them. I’ve been playing this game for years now tell me why I still haven’t completed the woodwork, figure skating, and fashion thingy hobbies? It has come to a point where I gave up. Some other hobbies took me a second to finish it but these ones and another few are taking me years and I don’t like it. Children: More interactions, activities, and more for children (Babies, toddlers, preteens). It’d be nice (coming back to my first point) if we could see their POV. Go to school and interact with other children there. Try to excel in class and such. Same for daycares. Work: Create interactions with all the jobs, from the artist to the Mayor. Also, it would be nice to have as many sims character work in one workspace at the sane time instead of having two while the others are off-line…Features that I have been asking for, FOREVER.
I wish they would give us innovative new features. I've been playing since the game was released and most of the time when I close the game or just forget about the game altogether it's because of limitations. I would like to see • U & O Shaped rooms • 1x1 rooms (they patched the glitch) • More walls & floors, in bulk. Give us packs. Not just one or two every so often in a hunt. I want to be overwhelmed with choices, as if I'm playing Sims 4 or TSM. • Door and window sets that MATCH. Why do I have Homestead windows & doors, a double doorframe, but no single doorframe? • Matching colors under the wrong names. Why are there 5 different shades of white, pine, oak, etc? Why does one item called "pine" have the shade of another item's "walnut"?? • More pet fashion & furniture • Ability to swap the side the driveway is on for driveway homes. Yes, we can put a patio on the other side, but come on, you know a driveway connects to the street, not just the sidewalk ;( • An automated work schedule for employed/enrolled sims. I usually work full time, so it would be nice to click one button that sends all unoccupied sims to their roles, or like with the VIP cakes, check off which ones I want to go and hit send at once. • Stop making events for us to build our own schools & daycares. I don't always have time to manage the babies and toddlers and feel guilty for making them watch TV & hibernate while I work on other things... • To follow up my last point, design the lots already in-game to be interactive, which in turn opens more interactive jobs. I would love to send my kids to daycare, even interact with them as a teacher at school (as a job, like the police/hospital/spa), or explore the Art Museum and Musician buildings, etc. • Re-release edges. It's been over a year, they are a favorited feature by many builders. Either run the Midcentury Mod hunt again or release them in the store as a purchasable pack. • Cheapen EVERYTHING. Simflation is hurting the player base and morale. I can't complete the desert or forest lots because each house costs MILLIONS. I can't build any of the superyachts. I can't even build the Cafe. There should be a limit. We all put so much time and money (real and fake) into completing professions for them to only come home with §3000 and the monuments don't add much. Why oh why is a coffee machine §500,000? • The obvious inventory concerns... sorting, searching, archiving, bulk selling... We all have been begging... • More diverse decor, lots, and fashion. Give us East Asian, give us Slavic, give us more Latin, give us Middle Eastern, give us more African. Enough of the wild west, French, baroque, and millennial greige... • Clothing and hairstyle sorting. If they can do it on the Sims Mobile, what's stopping them on Freeplay? I definitely customize my sims 90% less than I used to when they got rid of the gendered items. Yes, that should have been an option. No, it should not have been introduced without the ability to sort by "long, short, feminine, masculine, unisex" etc. • The volume of pets. I have to play with the volume off because I don't want to hear barking and meowing every 2 minutes. • The bug where window shades & shutters close on their own when you leave the lot or close the game. I don't even use certain windows because I have to open them manually every single time I re-enter the lot. With the dynamic lighting update this is especially frustrating. • The bug where you can be building in a on one floor, tap something, and it will take you to a completely different item on a different floor? Am I the only one having this issue? It's consistently happened since the dynamic lighting update came out. It happens all the time... I hate to be critical, especially of a game that has given me so much consistency for the past 10+ years in my difficult life. But I'm finding myself frustrated and bored more often than I find myself excited and satisfied like I was years ago. It's still my most played mobile game, but I'm feeling limited and lead-on. I hope the team will see this discussion and anything else you guys reccomend, and take it to the board room.Hobbies
Ok I want to know why it is with some hobbies it takes forever to get some badges. I’ve been having a sim do the figure skating and it’s taken almost 2 weeks and still trying to get the last two badges. One badge is normal the other rare. I had a similar issue with bowling, aerobics and bargain hunting. For bowling I had 2 sims and it kept giving me the level 1 badges even though they were top level. I ended up doing the dice roll to finish it. For bargain hunting I had to complete it otherwise I wouldn’t have finished in time for the air chamber and it was a combination of the same thing the others had with taking forever to level up in the hobby when others didn't have this issue. Wood working also had the issue of taking forever to level up. I had 5 sims working on it for the event and still couldn’t level them fast enough to unlock the prizes even though 1 was almost at the top of the hobby.The app keeps crashing after the new update
After the new update, when I open the game, after playing few minutes, the games lags and quits. Then I try to reopen, for the first time and second time, the game can't even enter but lag and quits during "The sims FreePlay" loading page. For the third time, I can finally open the game but all my progress stops... I just update the game for two days and I have already face this problem for more than 4 times. How can I complete my mission right now? Please fix it. My iOS version is 26.1Lots and Sims Disappeared
In the middle of the last hobby event, I logged into the lot where my Sims were woodworking and they had stopped progress and I could no longer access the basement of the lot where the woodworking stations were and the walls of the lot were gone. Also, the two ocean view lots next to this lot completely disappeared. When you access these lots now, they appear as the last lot that was visited. The sims that lived in these lots were deleted. I was not/am not above my Sim limit. I am wondering what I can do to restore my lots and sims.
Market field bug after new update
Hey, my fields have gotten weird after the update. When I tap a field to sow or check how much time left etc., it opens the field beside it, and it has also gotten extremely hard to sow seeds on a specific field, as it also goes to the field beside it.. :’) sorry English isn’t my first language
New update crashes game
Hi. I been playing this game for years at first the baby sims were ugly but recently you changed the faces of the sims and I’m rather happy with it. But that’s not the problem I’m expressing it’s the crashes and sometimes it keeps kicking me out of the game I don’t know if that is supposed to happen but everytime you people have a new update it messes the game up big time and that makes me very pissed I do not have the patience for this kind of issue normally the game was working fine a few days ago before the update was done. I think it needs a other update to fix the issue I’m having because that’s the first time I’ve seen issues happen in awhile since so long so please fix that asap I liked to get back to the game as if it had no issues or the screen freezing up is one of the issues I really hate. hello, I've been playing Sims FreePlay on my phone for a while now because my computer doesn't have enough storage for sims4, lol. I was always wondering why when your customizing your sims your limited. On Sims FreePlay I made a list of things you can't do. An example is every sim I make looks almost similar to the rest of them. I noticed this when I was making a new sim and I couldn't make them get chubbier, more muscular, skinner or even curvier. You have little to no ways to edit their face, body, walk, voice or personality traits (which I was really hoping I would be able to make their personalities and not to pick their "hobbies" ) and its makes Sims FreePlay pretty dull. The Reason I love Sims in the first place is because I can make them all unique and different with no limits. However in Sims FreePlay its basically giving "Same font, different color". I honestly feel like mobile players are given the bare minimum. To wrap this up I want to just clarify that the game is very enjoyable... Its just very annoying and frustrating seeing my sims have almost the same... everything lmao.Bug in Eco Esplanade
In Restful Retreat the task is to remove 12 boxes but there are 13. As soon as 12 are removed, the task is marked as complete and the sim stops removing the 13th box. Now it is stuck there and I cannot remove it, as when I click on it, it just says this is scheduled for removal later in the renovation plan, but I am on day 10 and there is no task to remove it. I have seen some others on Reddit had this problem three years ago but they didn’t find a solution either and just stopped playing. Have tried contacting online support in the game but found it very frustrating. Replies once a day in the middle of the night and don’t seem to understand what I am saying. They said they can’t restore missing content (this isn’t missing content? More additional, unwanted content?) and offered a goodwill grant.Super Toddler Secret Mission
I’m stuck with the task “ask for cookies”. I’ve read other gamers reports having the same issue. I have the “classic cupboard” and when I have an adult or the toddler select it, the item highlights but no options appear. I am using apple device if this makes any difference for advice. I am unable to start other quests while I am stuck. How do I resolve the issue or quit the quest?
