ufc 6 career mode / overall
Hi everyone, I'm just a regular UFC fan who's been playing the UFC games for years. I've spent a lot of time in UFC 6 already, but honestly, this game isn't giving me the excitement I was hoping for. I feel like Career Mode has so much untapped potential, yet many things from previous UFC games were simply carried over without much improvement. Hairstyles, tattoos, customization, and other features barely changed. It feels like we're playing the same Career Mode over and over again. What I'd really love to see added to Career Mode is more interaction with the real UFC experience outside of training camps. Things like: Press conferences. Face-offs. Interviews and media interactions. More choices that actually affect your career. The ability to ask Dana White for a chance to become a triple champion or unlock special opportunities. Dynamic storylines based on your achievements. One feature I've wanted for a long time is Bruce Buffer actually announcing "The one, the only..." after you've built an incredible legacy in Career Mode. Imagine going 30-0, 40-0, or breaking major UFC records and earning special introductions or achievements. It would make your career feel much more rewarding. The current walkout intros also feel way too short. They don't create much atmosphere, and the presentation flow isn't for everyone. At the very least, it would be great if players could choose whether to enable or disable it in offline modes. Overall, Career Mode has so much potential to feel more alive, immersive, and connected to the real UFC. There are so many opportunities to make it more realistic and memorable, but right now it feels like we're repeating the same formula every year. I really hope future updates and games take Career Mode in that direction because it could become something truly special.51Views0likes1CommentOn July 15th, this game is pure gold
FINALLY! The option to turn off visual effects of flow state. It's the one thing that ruins this game for me. First off, I play only offline against the CPU. THIS is the way this game was always meant to be played. Everyone who complains are playing online and if they lose they hate the game. I feel bad for those people and they will resort to making up all sort of stuff. Their self-worth truly is tied to their place on the leaderboards and I hope they each seek professional help. But man, playing against the CPU is pure sim heaven. Not perfect, but it's as good as it gets right now. I play UFC 6 for the immersion, and nobody talks enough about how great the A.I. is in this game. And I know after saying this some loser will quickly jump at how either the CPU cheats bad or how easily they could exploit the CPU. The thing is, I am convinced that MMA ignorants and arcade players truly have no idea that they are that. They don't realize that they play this game with a Street Fighter/Tekken mentality and are thinking "combo combo combo." Approach this game this way and yes, it will feel like the CPU is on pure matrix mode or you would be able to exploit it. Win at all costs. That's how most players approach this game. I love a win as much as the next guy, but my number one priority is always to fight as realitically as possible, and when you do, the CPU is a fantastic dance partner. It's especially great when you and the CPU are trading feints and trading shots and you're both missing by an inch when you swing. To me those are the most exciting sequences. Getting into unpredictable exchanges where both you and the CPU are using sound defense. And when you do finally land that big shot during these scenarios, boy is it satisfying, especially if the shot lands at the perfect time and results in a well-earned knockdown or flash knockout. But I absolutely hate the flow state visuals. For the past couple of weeks I've been restarting each match whenever the CPU decides to activate their flow state. I don't use mine, I refuse to use mine because of the ugly visuals. But that's all going to change on July 15th when the patch finally drops and I'll get to enjoy UFC 6 for all it has to offer, flow state and all. End of rant. P.S. be sure to cancel PS Plus!52Views2likes2CommentsBRING BACK FIGHT WEEK IN UFC5 PLZZZZZZ !!!!!!!

The in-game news ticker, located in the bottom right of the start-up menu does not display current events. Instead it just shows a glove with a line through it even though I can connect for online matches. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a setting I might have missed? thanks for the response.markgratitude3 days agoSeasoned Novice7Views0likes0CommentsMoves not working but they are unlocked

Legacy pack for Danny Lopez and Chris Carter playable
Hey EA Team, I’d really like to see a “Legacy Pack” added for UFC 6 that allows players to use story-mode fighters Danny Lopez and Chris Carter in Fight Now and other modes. These characters already exist in the game with full models and movesets ect, so it feels like a natural addition for players who want to play as them or create custom matchups outside Career Mode. Even a small DLC or update including just these fighters would add a lot of replay value and give players more freedom with existing content. Please consider this as several people would like to play as Danny Lopez like in fight night champion the way we could unlock and play as Andre Bishop and Isaac Frost Please EA teamKyleDav44 days agoSeasoned Rookie2Views0likes0CommentsNo Community Lead
The UFC game's Community Lead, DKhlynin, is meant to be the connection between the players and the developers, but that connection doesn't seem to be there. The community has repeatedly reported bugs, shared feedback, and raised valid concerns, yet most of the time those issues are met with little or no response. A Community Lead should keep players informed, pass feedback along to the developers, and communicate what is being worked on. Instead, it often feels like feedback is acknowledged briefly, if at all, and then nothing else is heard. Players who spend their time and money on the game want to know that their concerns are being heard. No one expects every issue to be fixed immediately, but regular communication and honest updates would go a long way. Right now, many players feel ignored because there isn't enough communication or follow-up. The community is simply asking for more transparency, better engagement, and someone who actively represents the players.Saavonne5 days agoSeasoned Novice51Views2likes1CommentPull back counter for the GloRy
Why do I have to be in hook range just for my jabs and straights to land? Even body jabs and body straights feel like they have far less reach than they should. The striking range feels inconsistent, making long range boxing simply ineffective. A common trend I’m seeing in ranked is constant pocket fighting and pull counter fishing. Fighting from the outside isn’t really incentivized as a viable strategy. Instead, the game heavily incentivizes standing in the pocket, body hunting, and waiting for pull back counters. It feels like UFC 5’s counter punching meta all over again. Another issue is how movement interacts with striking. When I throw punches from a planted stance, my opponent can instantly shuffle backward, causing two out of every three punches to whiff. If I try to throw whilst moving like jab hook combos my strikes become slow, have poor tracking, and often fail to connect anyway, especially if my opponent is up against the fence. Meanwhile, my opponent simply stops moving, plants their feet, throws a quick body flurry at close range, backs out, and repeats the cycle. Thats easy for me to do as well. I actually have to use this strategy to win. That’s how the game is playing right now, and it’s far too reminiscent of UFC 5. Outside fighting, range management, and using reach advantages should be viable strategies, but instead the game funnels everyone into the same close range body hunting, everyone is Ilia Topuria pull counter style of play. It’s a disappointing direction and feels like a repeat of what many players considered the weakest gameplay meta the series has had.10Views0likes0CommentsOverheating Consoles
Many players are complaining this is the only game causing their Playstation and Xbox consoles to overheat and shut off -- myself included. I can play other games that should be more demanding, like Crimson Desert, HUNT Showdown, Arc Raiders, Rockstar titles, and many others for hours on end with no issues. All other UFC titles have been fine. I'm lucky if I get 30 minutes on EA UFC 6 before my console crashes. For the record: my console is free of dust. As stated, no other game does this. It's the game and it needs to be fixed. This isn't affecting everybody. I think it may be specific console iterations so I'll just include mine. Console: PS5 standard, disk drive included. I'm unsure how the Slims, Pros, Digital only, or specific Xbox iterations are handling it, but I do know that users on both PS and Xbox are only having this issue on this game based on various Reddit threads.AzzBoii6 days agoSeasoned Newcomer32Views0likes2CommentsUFC 6 feedback
Add the Crypto logo on the UFC Freedom 250 shorts and tops. It's missing. Rename the UFC Apex to the Meta Apex. There're a few glitches such as the judo toss when they get back up straight away which happens sometimes and also some clipping of the UFC belt when you win it in a title match. Also, in practice mode they won't get up (unless you continuously kick them where there's a glitch with their legs) if they're on the ground which is annoying when you're trying to learn different moves. Thanks, ZaneZaney936 days agoNewcomer17Views0likes0CommentsSo this is the bliss men feel after passing a kidney stone...
I've never passed a kidney stone lol but this must be what it's like afterwards, with the latest patch that finally lets you turn off the flow state visuals! Wow the difference is night and day. Before this patch I would dread the CPU using flow state as it completely ruined the immersion for me. I'm glad that's water under the bridge. Also the countering off of slips feel much better and more responsive now. Prior to the patch it felt off and a little delayed. Now it's much more natural to slip and land that sweet counter. Kudos to EA Sports for listening. I've loved UFC 6 from the start but having to deal with the flow state has been really challenging for my mental health lol. #cancelPSPlus #boycottGTA631Views0likes0CommentsI'm a Division 17
1. Front kick bug Front kicks are not working properly. Please fix them. A perfectly timed front kick, knee, or uppercut against a single-leg or double-leg takedown should result in at least a rock, if not an instant knockout. Right now, the hit reaction doesn't work correctly. 2. Takedown defense Takedown defense needs to be improved. I can press L2 + R2 before my opponent even touches me, and they still get the takedown. It doesn't feel fair. Right now it's too easy to exploit. Wrestlers should have to set up takedowns with strikes instead of just pressing a button and shooting. There isn't enough time to react consistently. Even when I know exactly what's coming, react correctly, and I'm in a flow state, Khabib can still take me down and submit me too easily. It's game-breaking. I don't want to be forced into Stand & Bang just to avoid this. At the moment, submissions feel almost free because takedowns are too reliable. It's extremely difficult to compete against players using fighters like Khabib, Oliveira, and similar grapplers. Please listen to the community. Is to just run backwards extremely fast. Its so lame. This is top division UFC 2 all over again with the hit and run tactics. It ruins playing online. Right now it's run backwards or pull uppercut again. You guys have to do something about this uppercut, nerf it. It's old, boring and stupid that it rewards a rock or knock down guaranteed. The game basically is running or waiting to hit a pull counter which is so stale. The only time you face ppl trying to bring the fight to you to be high up in ranked divisions. Quick fight this year is horrible with running and spammers.JKExp8611 days agoRising Novice48Views0likes2CommentsUfc 6 feedback, and downfall of EA
I’ve been playing EA Sports titles since the NHL games of the late ’90s, and UFC 6 feels like another example of the same problem: a full-price release with very little meaningful innovation. The core gameplay is almost identical to previous editions. Aside from having a bit more time to react and block strikes, the overall experience feels largely unchanged. Year after year, loyal fans are asked to pay premium prices for what often feels like a roster update rather than a truly new game. EA once set the standard for sports gaming. Today, it feels like the focus is on annual releases rather than delivering major improvements that the community has been asking for. UFC 6 is disappointing, and as a long-time customer, it’s becoming harder to justify buying the next installment.Ruditto12 days agoSeasoned Newcomer145Views2likes2CommentsNo knees for 7 days
Imagine knees to the body not working for a week without a patch. Not gonna lie this game is playing like ufc 5 right now. I’m talking about players playing it like the previous title. Same strategies same combos etc. fighters are now starting to feel the same, more or less. Uniqueness is gradually fading as predicted. Hit boxes are inconsistent. Animations are wonky. For example if you throw a lead hook with khabib while moving forward he’ll keep taking steps forward into your opponent. This game is riddled with things like this. Yeah and there’s literally no advantage when using lower tier fighters regardless of their perk setup. Little to no incentive for winning with them either. You can easily get overwhelmed when using a lower tier fighters regardless and next thing you know your block and health are gone and it’s over. Also teep kicks are useless. Dan hookers teep kicks are the generic kind too lol82Views1like1CommentUFC 6: Fundamentally broken
UFC 6 is fundamentally broken – striking distance, counters, hit registration and exploit spam I've played UFC games for around 10 years, and I genuinely don't understand how the gameplay keeps getting worse instead of improving. The biggest issue right now is striking distance and recovery speed. Jabs, crosses, hooks and especially overhands constantly fail to reach opponents who are literally standing still in front of you. The overhand sometimes feels like it has the reach of a small child. At the same time, certain combinations and spam patterns allow players to pressure endlessly with almost no reliable opportunity to counter. L1 + moving backwards needs to be faster and more responsive. UFC 3 handled this much better. You could move back, create distance and fire a cross forward as a counter. Right now, even when I correctly read my opponent and try to counter, my fighter often reacts too slowly or simply cannot reach them. The game currently rewards cheesy spam more than timing and fight IQ. There are also serious issues with hit registration. Standing knees frequently don't connect properly. Head kicks can feel impossible to escape while moving backwards, and certain strikes seem to track or connect from ridiculous positions. The ground game also has obvious exploit/spam problems. I've already encountered players abusing patterns that feel completely broken and leave almost no meaningful counterplay. Then there is the Flow State system. I fought a McGregor player who appeared to remain in Flow State for around three minutes while endlessly spamming attacks. If this is intended, the system is horribly balanced. If it isn't intended, then it needs to be investigated as a bug. I've even encountered what I can only describe as a “Jesus glitch”, where the character becomes stuck standing with the arms positioned like they're nailed to a cross. UFC 3 was the last UFC game where I felt that movement, distance and counter striking actually worked together properly. The current game needs serious changes to: Fix jab, cross, hook and overhand range. Make L1 + backwards movement faster and more responsive. Improve forward counter striking after creating distance. Fix hit registration, especially standing knees. Investigate ground-game spam/exploits. Fix or rebalance Flow State duration and activation. Fix the character T-pose/“Jesus” glitch. Reduce the effectiveness of endless combo spam and reward correctly timed counters. I want this game to be good. I've spent around 10 years playing this series, but right now the gameplay is unbelievably frustrating because I'm not losing to better reads or better fighting strategy. I'm constantly fighting broken mechanics, inconsistent range, hit-registration issues and exploit spam. EA, please actually investigate these issues. The core gameplay and counter-striking system need serious attention.FranZg9812 days agoNew Novice13Views0likes0Comments
