Yes, just read step 6, if you don't have 64 bit windows you will not see the button.

I too suspect you are using an integrated Intel graphics processor which is not designed for gaming. It's meant to allow minimum graphical use on a computer like loading web pages or watching YouTube videos but does not have the processing power or memory to run 3D applications, especially DirectX 11 applications.

I am having the exact same problem. I got the same error message and did upgrade my driver through Intel, which still didn't work.  I have a Dell Inspirion 3521.  If my most recent Intel graphics driver is not compatible with this game, what am I supposed to do?  This computer is only about 2 years old, surely there's a way that the game can be played on this computer?

Another possibility is to play it on a computer with a dedicated Graphics Card.  Medium-end Desktop GPUs are decently priced and can go on sale for great prices.

It would be possible to buy a brand new computer today that wouldn't play this game well.  Laptops with only the Intel Graphics are meant for general computer usage but can be used for older games or non-demanding indie games.  On the other hand it'd be possible to own a 5+ year old gaming PC that plays it pretty well.  PC Gaming for the most part requires a gaming PC to get a decent experience.

** Gaming at all on an integrated graphics solution is relatively new.  In the years past it was nearly unthinkable to play any semi-recent PC titles on integrated of the time.

 I have the same problem, when i start the game i get a message saying i need to update my intel drivers, which repeatedly doesn't work and I have an Nvidia GT 740M graphics card with the latest drivers. I am running win 8.1 and all specs exceed the minimum - 40mbps internet, 8 GB RAM, 100's GB free on hard disk, intel i7 quad core etc etc

 I have followed the other instructions, going to manage 3d settings, i am still getting the same message, I have reset and still doesn't work and same error message, any idea's whats up with it?

Any help is appreciated, especially as it's coming out of your own time. ty

Some of nVIDIA's hermaphrodites never do as they are supposed to.  That's nVIDIA's fault, & has plagued their junk since they discarded the mobile GPU's entire front end hardware.  Take it up with them, that's as good of a suggestion as I have.

Game specs are stated in terms of DESKTOP hardware.  A GT 740m in a laptop is not equal to the real GT 640 desktop part, but if the 740 will actually ever work as you need it to, you can lower the screen resolution to gain some of the lost animation speed that laptop compromises on performance have cost you.

The "Personalize" selection opens a menu of options, and you want to work with that (I'm looking at Windows7, not Windows 8 or Windows 10).  Back in the day, Windows XP used "Properties" to open a somewhat different, but similar, menu of options. 

OK, I'm a noob in settings. How do I check this stuffs?
