I probably wouldn't hold your breath thinking that the development team would pull server resources for such a database query and then publish the results for all to see.

Many times companies will not release such numbers because revealing usage details can be double-edged sword; if your numbers are higher than the public expects or about where they expect it can work in your favor but if they are lower then the public expects then it can be detrimental as the game could consequently be branded as "unpopular" or the game community as "dying" even if the game is just as populated and healthy, in a relative way, as it was in the past.

    There're enough on PS4 that most times I'm playing TT, at least a couple are playing, and I don't always recognize the names.

    I'm max in both but I see a lot of lower levels in GW2 as opposed to GW1 where the average player level seems much higher.

    And as Realitysquared pointed out most game companies are loathe to release player counts for a variety of reasons. My friend and I jumped on TT last night to get the 'Smarter than a computer' quest done and had no issues getting players on PC and I didn't recognize any of them which is a good sign.
