Re: Problems with quest stars

I've had this happen in the past. It seems that if you are going to go over 200 stars, even if you spend down in the same session first, you stop getting those stars. I've found that if you log off after spending stars down (buying rainbow stars from the seagull), and then logging off, it fixes the issue and I can earn full stars when I log back on. It won't restore any lost ones so if anyone is near that threshold I encourage you to spend them at the fish for xp or the seagull for rainbow stars or wherever else you can spend them, and then logoff and back on. I've not had this problem since finding that out. It's a workaround but it does work.

To explain better I’ll go over how I found out about this.

It was a quest/portal day and I had gotten up to 199 stars part way through the quests. I then went to the seagull and spent 28 stars so I was at 171 and went back to questing. I did 2 quests which should have put me at 177 but I was at 172, this indicated to me that the cap was 200 even after spending since that 1 star I earned would have put my old total at exactly 200. A bit confused by this at first I logged off and back on. It didn’t fix the missing stars so while I was annoyed I shrugged and went back to questing. I then noticed that my stars were working normally.

So not only do we have a cap of 200 at once, there is also an absolute cap per session based on that 200 cap so spending them doesn’t fix that cap per session. I’ve had to do the logoff/logon trick a few times now and it’s always worked, my friend that plays with me does the same thing since I found out about it to not waste any stars.
