You know, I have had a few instances like that too. One earlier today in fact. It was a decent game for a bit, and then I had a good couple rounds, but it was still anybody's game. Then I had played a Threepeater?(the 1/5 attacks 3 lanes pea) which, with threenut turned into the game basically, because it along with spikeweeds would be enough for me to break through for the game ending...what the heck??? I'm looking at my homescreen, kicked out of game completely, and this happens every once in awhile but I seem to notice that it's not a stomping, it's always a disappointment of sorts, because it was a good game and then poof!

  • When a player leaves, you get that bubble with the dots that goes from a white bubble, to red.. And ticking sound counting down. This kind of cut out.. Screen just goes black.. Then the whole game closed, the whole app closed. So you have to reload the game. 

  • So in other words, your saying this is a bug of the game.. An opponent leaving the game, due to rage quit should not lose me a star. Effectively this is another fault in EA's game.

    @saintlydevilis If the app closed then this could point to a device issue. Have you had a chance to run through the troubleshooting steps for your device? If not, please let me know what you are playing on and I can link you to the relevant steps. 

  • Before playing I close every app on my iPad, I also clear all history, I then reboot the iPad. When I've done all that, I sit next to the router on my home wifi of 5G, and then finally I play the game. I've checked my wifi with wifi analyser and all is good, where I am sat playing next to the router. No other game or app has caused issues like this on my iPad. 

    Doing all this, has stopped these kind of issues in the past. But, this time I could see no reason why the game should cut out. Why was it suspicious? Because my opponent was down to 1 in health and I had 18 health, I was literally about to win that turn.. Then boom.. Gone. Now, that is either miraculous cut out, or something funny is going on. 

    @EA_Darko I think those are all the steps that I need to have followed for iPad. By, the way anything new to sorting the advert issue? As I still do not get adverts, which is hindering my progress in the game, and causes other issues like daily challenge. I've tried loading the game on another device and yes it gets adverts, etc.. But it won't sync over all cards.. 😢

    I didn't know that if you change devices to another manufacturer, you have to sacrifice your existing account? o-O
  • @EA_Darko I don't mean to cause offence when I say this. But, did you read what I wrote? I follow all those steps. I'm not going to re install the game every other week, that would be just ridiculous. I have all the latest updates for the game, as you can see in the App Store when a game is updated. I check when iOS is updated. I do realise you probably speak, write to many people per day, and for that reason I try to say when I have an issue what I have done, or checked to see where the problem myself before contacting a help desk/team. But, a standard preprinted response does not always correct an issue. It feels from customer perspective that us players are treated as idiots. Even when some of us, do try all we can ourselves before trying to contact EA. 

    Anyway thank you for replying.. I guess it will be one of life's mysteries. 

    @patdk75 It makes no sense on the syncing over the game to lose all those cards. It maybe it's not working correctly, but trying to get help about it is not easy. Unless an issue works out on a preprinted standard response.. No one interested. 😔

    @saintlydevilis I did read your post but saw no mention of you clearing the cache and then power-cycling the device. 

    The issue you are having would appear to be a device issue, if it was an issue with the game then others would be experiencing it. I myself play the game on an iPad and have never experienced and issue with the game crashing in the manner you describe. I am happy to help as best I can only work with the information provided and when faced with an app crashing, the first step is always basic troubleshooting.

    With My experience, I used to play this game on my old version of Ipad 2 ( the first issue of Ipad 2) and it keeps on crashing...

    I learned that the old version of Ipad 2 doesn't update to newer version of IOS, thus it won't support the game and the crashing happens. 

    I have to buy a new tablet to keep playing and now everything is fine. 

  • Yes, mine is an older version.. But, seriously, we can't all rush out and buy new tech just to play a game. Great if you can, but in the meantime the older version of iPad is hardly ancient and everything else I do my iPad works fine. You would think a company as large as EA could/would be willing to sort out these issues. It's like saying, oh it's your device, your internet - effectively a bit of a cop out. When, it doesn't say in the App Store, only works with the latest version. After trying all their standard, response trouble shooting tech pages.. It always comes down to try it on another device. I did try on another device, but another device does not have 16 months worth of cards. IF, I can have my account with ALL my cards on my Samsung then sure I will be happy. And I guess EA will be happy to not hear from me and my problems.. Lol

    I really don't want to be a nuisance, a problem.. I just want to play the game, with the adverts, without problems.. This game is addictive, and I like playing it, it's a great escape from the rest of the issues in my life. You would also think, that the company would like the issues, bugs, hackers, etc reported so that they continue to have happy players.. Rather than people just giving up on the game without them knowing why.

    @EA_Darko I've been playing most of the day.. Now, the same thing has happened another 3 times this evening, each time when I was winning, and the opponent was about to lose. Now, I don't believe in coincidences like that. Something suspicious is definitely happening. If it was my device, it would also happen when I am losing the game, makes no sense to happen only when I am winning. The opponents where playing as HG, another coincidence, each time a different name.. So if they are a hacker, they are pretty * at the game.

    @saintlydevilis It sounds like you are having a device issue, have you run through the troubleshooting steps I linked above? 

    As the iPad2 no longer gets iOS updates from Apple you may see some issues with running apps.
