Re: RUX redux - OK, I'll say it

Yep yep and more yeps....
Messing around this morning I too hate it... it is , as you say, ugly.
And yeah you can shoot his boombox but you can still hear him grunting away (although I did giggle when I read you saying that)...
it is however totally correct... and irritating.
It doesn't of course affect you when playing games but you are faced with it all the time while in backyard...
its bloody awful.

Thing is about this game and life for me... its a lot about the aesthetics... I like things to be nice to look at.... appreciate good views etc.
The details in this game are awesome and I love the cartoony style...
its one of the reasons this is the only game I play and the only game Ive ever played for more than a very short time.
Now they have made my backyard all ugly and messy and I'm not pleased 😞


Anyway, yep I agree and am confused about why these decisions where made when there is clearly many better locations available.

I am reading also that there are other issues with superbrainz air punches missing for cozmic and breakfast...
I have little interest in them although Toxic is a wee bit fun but I rarely use him.... so for me not a huge issue but for those who enjoy playing them it must be hugely frustrating and annoying.
And other bugs and whatnot having appeared blah blah blah... Popcap hasn't really pulled it out the bag this time I'm afraid... all a bit of an anticlimax.

    I'm usually a big fan of updates nobody asked for but that music is irritating.  If they were going to move Rux into my backyard then at least they could have him offer the remaining stickers you don't have.  Maybe they will add an option to buy higher player volume from Rux so I can play anything other then Turf on NA servers.  Collapse the game types already and soccer kick Rux back to the sewers.

    For a moment I thought you were going to say "If they were going to move Rux into my backyard then at least they could have... asked me"
    But yes decent stickers for those that need them...

    I can't argue with that at all. Honestly travelling to the sewers wasn't a big deal and the target range quests are pretty common so going down there was a common occurrence.

    The Rux music assaulting you as you log in to your base is annoying too. I don't mind his music when I go visit him but it's a bit annoying to hear all the time at the bases now.

    Also there's a bug where you buy stuff from him, it shows up as still available at the other base but if you try to buy it it says it can't complete the transaction but they never say sold (barring the dark garlic drone which I had prior, he had consumables for sale in the other slots).

    Also also, the music in the customization booth is absent now. 

    I honestly thought they were moving him to the town hall at first so he's right there by the seagull and the portal. Please put him back in the sewer or move him to the town hall or something.

    I only tried the regular Super Brainz and I was able to punch in midair with him. I had quests to do on other characters and Star Control: Origins launched so I got my quests done and played that game instead of testing much out here, but the Rux location change is not an improvement in the current setup. 

    Edit: I watched Wolfy's video on this and indeed neither Breakfast Brainz or Cozmic can punch mid-leap and if anyone needs it, it's Cozmic Brainz! I posted about it in the bugs forum.

    So we have 2 Ruxs? They clone him, twin brother? Hmm....that is so weird.

    Let put Rux back...I don't have a problem walking into a sewer or

    somewhere in the middle of the map, behind the town hall or next to the soccer field.

    This is just my personal oppinion!

    And yes ,it is not good for my ears,listenin all the times this tlalala-trililooo-hohooho...Its lot of places in the base,oround the Book center,little bit hidden from ayes!

    And YES,the old pozition for Rux was very,very ok for me,and its not so much to walk from Base,10,15 sec and your there,like if you going to play "Crazy target play,its the same!

    For the End,like one player sead;What are you thinking EA,POP CAP,REALLY????????????????End my 5 yer old son lookung for NeW Toorchwood-Toxic variant or new Legendary Sunflower...etc!Something like this the Last would be better,istead Just remove Rux in the game map,isnt it???

    Obout new character(Toxic Toorchwood,Legendary Sunflower,Peashooter,Goat...etc)would be really Nice to have this in ours

    inventory to the End of 2018,i`ll Really hope in that way,or EA-give us hole New game expirience,"The GW3"!!!

    Listen to the community wishes and bring to the game tjis new character ,at Last a couple of new,maybe New Legandary,maybe just some Electric Corn,Toxic Imp...etc!

    A Lot of player(old and new)have some sort of Wishes,I know its not simple in the short period of time,but its possible 100%!You will sea(EA)player will play 25h a Day

    with The New Character,and this is also my Wishes for  a Long,Long time!
