Failed to Initialize DirectDraw: RESULT_SURFACE_FAIL

Question

Whenever I open the game on steam It instantly crashes and a fatal error message shows up in my screen saying Failed to Initialize DirectDraw:RESULT_SURFACE_FAIL CreateSurface Windowed Primary:DDERR_NOEXCLUSIVEMODE

I'm having the same problem, i had to force close the game because it crashed and now every time i try to open it it crashes with your same error and i'm searching everywhere and can't find a solution, did you fix your problem or do you still have it?
