I. Need. Help.
So, I have commented about this game before, and I have learned more about my Laptop and the problem with the game. The game keeps crashing before the main menu and says that it's losing the D3D directory, and I have seen the Respawn First article, and it didn't help me. My DirectX is up to date, and I can't seem to cap the frames in any way. I have an Intel (R) HD Graphics 4000 driver, and my laptop runs on Windows 10 and on a 64 bit, and as far as I know, no FPS booster/limiter supports this driver or any Intel driver for that matter. I have done my best and have updated everything from my driver to Windows 10, and everything in between. I have verified the integrity of the game files many times over, so that's not the problem. My laptop doesn't support any other refresh rate other than 60hz when I need 30hz, and I don't use a separate monitor either, so I can't cap it there. I've tried MSI, RiviaTuner, and a few others. They couldn't help me either. My GPU is also at the stock clocking speed, so it's fine too. I've even tried command line arguments like "+fps_max 30", "-GameTime.MaxVariableFps 30" and a few others, but they haven't helped. To summarize everything, My driver is an Intel (R) HD Graphics 4000 driver, my laptop runs on Windows 10, my drivers and DirectX are both up to date, Windows 10 is up to date, and Origin and Jedi Fallen Order are both up to date. The game's files are fine, and my DirectX Library isn't corrupted. As far as I know, this is an FPS issue and I can't change my refresh rate on my laptop from 60hz, higher or lower. Nothing supports Intel graphics cards, and I don't know of any command line arguments that will lock the game's FPS. What I need is either something that can help cap the fps that supports my graphics card, a command line argument that could cap the FPS or a way to be able to lower my refresh rate from 60hz to 30hz. If I could get some help, EA official or not, that would be great. Thank you.
If you only have an Intel HD4000 then you will not be able to play as that does not meet the system requirements.
