Is there any way to improve EA ANTICheat? Because EA ANTICheat should protect games against cheats and pirates, but it hasn't helped and cheats and pirates are still out there and can ban players. Can EA ANTICHEAT be improved?
I hope they really improve it. I've just played 90 minutes, and I have found 6 different cheaters in different games. The worst one was literally freezing time count in Garden and Graveyards. At this point, there are even more cheaters than before. I don't know what happened, but since some weeks ago, I find one in almost all lobbies.
It's sad, as this game has a huge potential and with a simple anticheat, could be a thousands times better.
Luckily, and I hope, cheaters start doing something that bothers EA (like last time), and they take action.
Best way would be to remove it tbh.
I have not been able to play PvZ Garden Warfare 2 since i purchased it, i cant make it past the tutorial without the anticheat showing up with code 115 every single time.
@WhiteZeldaOn the one hand, I agree with you, but on the other, not really. Because if we remove anti-cheat, there will be even more cheaters/hackers. The only solution, in my opinion, is to improve EA anticheat.
Is this specifically for steam plants vs zombies garden warfare 2?
There are a lot of hackers or skids as the community calls them.
Some people in the community tried making mods to combat the skids, but the skids found out how to use it to their advantage.
I don’t play steam gw2 but the issue seems pretty bad from what I’ve seen.
@TheBiggestKWYes it's last times are getting more and more serious because last time I played on Pvz GW2 there were about 15 or 17 cheater/hacker that I very quickly quit the game as soon as the game started I was ready to go online suddenly a cheater/hacker appeared and does nothing just look at me and I had to quit the game again.
So, yes, the hacker problem in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 on Steam is pretty serious.
The anticheat just bans players who use mods but theres a way to turn it off that the skids have used to hack online (editing the game’s files or something). From what I know, getting mods for playing boss hunt and other modes in private play or just change ingame textures bans you because the anticheat bans anyone modding the game, dangerous mods or not.
