Borgano Elevator Glitch

Summarize your bug After obtaining Wall Run on Bogano, I cannot use the elevator to return up. Every time I use the elevator it treats it as if I have fallen or been killed by an enemy.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Using the elevator after wall run will kill the player
What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot use the elevtor
What do you expect to see? Be able to return to the top.

While early in the game in Borgano, once you obtain Wall Running you have to activate a lift and return to the top. However, for some reason every time I use the elevator it counts as my having fallen, reducing my health and returning me to the bottom. There is no way for me to use the elevator as it happens every time and I cannot move further in the game due to this bug.
