I don't think he Radeon HD 6850 gets driver updates anymore due to its age. That's probably why they listed a newer card as the required minimum.

The Radeon HD 7850 is more powerful than the 6850. You don't meet the minimum system requirements.
I am surprised you have a driver from 2017, though (as stated in the error message). I was under the impression that the last compatible driver version for the HD 6850 was a beta driver from 2016.
If you can't get a refund through this page, try to contact EA. They sometimes give refunds after the 1 week period has passed in the event of technical issues. Note that there may not be many support agents online during the holidays.
