I bet everything was working properly until they threw on Denuvo, and whatever other anti-cheat DRM stuff is in there. It's a single player game that did really well, do they really need it? When they removed Denuvo from Fallen Order after like a year, performance was significantly better. There's gotta be another way to keep their game safe from piracy than this option that weighs down every single player's system while playing.
