Fractured Determination Force Tear bug

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug During the "Fractured Determination" Force tear, a portion of the course bugs after the first time it's reached, unless you exit the tear entirely, to completely reset the tear.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Enter Fractured Determination. 2. Proceed through the course until you hit the climbing grid (after the swinging pole) that spins 180 degrees. 3. Fail the course at this point or later. 4. Start the course over WITHOUT exiting the tear. 5. When you reach the climbing grid again, this time it WON'T spin around, leaving the course unable to be completed, because you can't jump to the next segment (multi-jump wall with moving electricity).
What happens when the bug occurs? The course is rendered unable to be completed until you completely exit and re-enter the Force tear.
What do you expect to see? The course element performs the same during every attempt (i.e., spins 180 degrees to align you with the next section of the course), without needing to be entirely reset.

Completely resetting the course (exiting the tear and entering again) seems to resolve the issue. But it's a rude surprise the first time it happens, and it's a pain to have to remember to exit and re-enter every single time when failing after the point where the bug happens.

EDIT: While this previously happened several times in a row (100% of the time during that stretch), in this round of attempts, I was unable to reproduce the bug. It's possible there's something else going on (e.g., maybe if you dash and then jump to the climbing grid, it doesn't swing around; but if the last thing you do before hitting it is dash, then it works).

  • I play on PS5. For me this bug happens very often. If I fail there on my first run I always gdy tys bug and I need to gdy lut and gdy on again. This is very annoying.

  • Getting a bug in this tear as well. The first green wall after wall running becomes impassable.

  • The same issue has now occurred during the main quest line:

Here's a mid-run fix from user FishermanPlanco on Reddit:

If the gate does not swing, let him rest on it. Then hop straight up and back onto it - not outwards - just straight up like you would if you were hopping up to another wall. When he falls back onto it, it'll swing.
