I know this is three years old but want to say thank you for the fix. I am not sure why this is a thing but I had to put it on fullscreen window mode also to fix in game stuttering. I also have a high end pc and brand new raddeon 5700 xt. this worked for me.

Not quite sure what is going on with there fullscreen setting that is causing this but its for sure a bug and should be fixed.
