Re: Can't Subscribe, Can't submit a ticket in game. Been an issue since 2014

After a countless 7 day struggle I have finally found a solution to this problem, and for anyone who is in Canada that has had the same atrocious experience as I just had.

If this problem ever happens to someone again I will come here and save their lives, Now don't phone the customer support; they were utterly useless and as i knew it would happen they just stressed the fact that it was my bank rejecting the transaction. I phoned my accountant and he looked into this personally, its not my bank its their billing system and they cannot see whats happening on their end because all it tells them is that the transaction is denied. This is because their billing database is bugged and wont convert CDN to USD properly via certain bank branches, so therefore; SOMETIMES especially for people in Canada using a CIBC Bank company; it will reject it due to this, not because of a block, it is on their end and they refuse to acknowledge this, very frustrating. before i present my solution to this problem besides game cards in store, (for me the game cards are very far away, i live in a small town) wasn't an option. I would first like to say that EA is extremely lucky that i am the biggest die hard star wars fan that I NEED to play this game lol, with that being said this is what you must do.

Go to Origin.com sign up, it is a great website for somethings, ive used it to purchase Dragon Age games and Sims games in the past.

Now register your bank card as you would normally on any other online purchase.

Search for the Digital pack of SW:TOR, now this would tell you its the game client strictly, HOWEVER you can still use its redemption code to add game time to your account. Origin takes about 24hrs to send an order, i got mine in about 12 hrs, tis is normal as they get crapt loads of orders on a daily basis. It was 16.94$ for 30days. Exact same amount as a 1 month recurring sub plan. I just got my code entered it and i am now a sub, all you have to do is repeat this when you run out or when your in the city, or wherever they sell cards in your area get an annual sub to limit your frustration.  id like to thank the above for sharing the Skype info regardless of them not helping me it is still a great way to contact them for free in Canada, and of course the origin recommendation, never thought in a million years they would sell game time for a US based MMO.
