Close launcher.
Open launcher.settings (located in installation folder) with notepad.
Set "bitraider_disable": false -> "bitraider_disable": true
Restart launcher.
MOD Edit - Best is to follow the directions here if wanting to disable bitraider
Thanks a ton, changing that file got my update going. Mine was not at any percent just said updating complete. I had not played in 8-9 months so I knew there had to be some patching to be done. Now downloading several gigs of updates! Thanks again!
This is a reply to Fappelboomgaard's fix in case it did not show.
Just for future reference if adjusting the launcher setting file follow this to avoid folder bloat as this is a different game install and blows the hdd space used if not followed.
In regards to @Anacrhonism issue and to save a new game install, if it just said updating complete and no play button most common resolution is a quick fix.
Press Windows key + R and type
services.msc
press enter and ensure the bitraider mini support service stub loader is started , symptom of it not started is 100% complete and if try to re-install it will sit at 0% and not download.
Easiest is to right mouse click on the game shortcut and select open file location
