Re: Opening "Social Hub" a "Game Party" (Squad) invite on XBOX, Crashes the Game.

@EA_Ataashi  Is there anyone looking into this? The error is still happening and crashing my game every time I click on the social hub. I have heard from one person of the 15 or so people I play with say they aren't having the issue. We have to rely on them to invite the party, otherwise, we cannot make a squad in the game or see each other as green.

@EA_Ataashi  We have also found another really odd workaround if we get into a game and then click the Xbox"Invite to Game" it will create a squad in which we can see the green outline for the squad players. But this only works with Galatic as once we get into an H vs V it won't add the other players. It has created a big issue with my friends and me, please fix.

@Paodok  Thanks for updating us on what is working for you. I am not having the same luck as it seems to always be grey for the Xbox game invite. I am not sure why this is happening. I don't think there was an update on Wednesday-Thursday, but something is all screwy with this game right now. I was sleeping and my phone chimed, I thought it was a text you sent at first and I was like, how did he get my number. I am half asleep so, I am going back to bed. 

Good morning my fellow gamers, well I am getting up for work early and wanted to check this out. I wasn't able to check if the error was still happening, but I will when I get back from work today. I do know it didn't work last night before I went to sleep and that it also didn't work when I tried all day Sunday. Come on EA, this is something we shouldn't have to suffer through.

@EA_Ataashi  I just wanted to let you and my fellow gamers in this thread know I have found another workaround for Xbox Social Hub error. This requires one person who the error isn't affecting. (I know a needle in the haystack... but really there are some.) I have one out of my 100 + friends so far that this has worked with. They have no issues with "Social Hub" (SH) and can, therefore, add all in the party to the game by clicking on the SOCIAL HUB. They also don't have the grey unclickable link on the invite party to game. So either way, they can make a party. For those who don't have a buddy without error, they can do the following;

Start a match of "Galactic Assult" (picking this is because of the 20 v 20 gameplay making it easier to add people to the game.) and going into a match. Once they are in the match they have others in the party click on the "View Profile" of that player and then click "Join Game" once in the game the person who went in first can now send a "Invite Party to Game" invite that will squad up the team. This will make everyone have the normal outline of green. If the goal was to play Galatic Assault this is your workaround, but if you want to play Heros v Villians you will need to do the following. Once the match has finished everyone can click "Quit Game" this allows the whole party to arrive back at the main menu in a squad. From there, anyone can click on Play > Multuplayer. Heroes v Villians. As long as the party is four people you will all go directly into the game. So those workarounds are confirmed to work because I tested them. Hope this helps in the meantime until EA can get this in the "Fix it" queue.

@Paodok  I don't have the luxury of having 100+ friends so, I will have to go with your word on it being a fix. lol

I have tried your unique fix for the party or squad as you called it. I think Xbox confuses me with the whole what is a party what is a game party as they seem to use these words interchangeably.

I did the GA to H Vs V work-around and it worked. But if any of us leave the game or I want to add in new people we are screwed as the minute we open social hub it crashes the game. The only way we avoided this was to quite once again and do the same GA to H Vs V. It's a pain in the patootie, to say the least.

Thank you for posting a kind-of-sort-of-fix for this, I wouldn't be able to play with friends and it would totally suck dude!

@MicaHarrisXI get that it's frustrating. I think we all are, I would even lump poor Atasshi in the group of people tired of things going wrong with the game. I still love Star Wars and I am trying to make myself excited about the Ewok Hunt as well as upcoming solo season. I think once it's in front of me as well as me seeing the movie I will be much more excited. It is a Galaxy Far Far Away, possibly that is why communications have been so infrequent. 🙂

I cannot figure out how I did the attention symbol thing to link to you guys. But both Paodok and Atasshi thank you for the information. Paodok the thing you described is a way around it. But many of my friends think its too much to do, so I haven't been able to play with anyone. I will try once I can convince others to do so.
