@TheWeetek, alright, thanks for the info.

    - Have you checked if there are any Windows updates (+ Additional Windows updates) available? If so, please install those, reboot the PC & check if you can launch the game.

    - Please also check if there are any new GPU & CPU drivers available for your system.

    - If all the drivers are up to date, please perform a clean boot of your PC & check if you're still experiencing the same issue: https://help.ea.com/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/.

    - If you're using a 3rd party Antivirus or Firewall, please make sure to make an exclusion for the game & install location of the game & the save location of the settings in the My Documents folder.

Please let me know if you're still experiencing the issue after you've performed these steps.
  • ok. So just to say - when I tried Titanfall 2 singleplayer, ok

when I tried multiplayer.. I clicked on multiplayer, which gets me to multiplayer menu

and after a few seconds it falls down to EA app

    1. windows updates are installed

    2. i tried stop firewall of windows defender which I use and it didnt change anything.

    3. reinstalling the app didnt help

    4. reinstalling the games didnt help

    5. using my integrated Radeon Vega 8 makes the same (https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-ryzen-3-3200g)

    6. using my 3050 GTX makes the same

    7. for both I have new drivers, the 3050 GTX i added a week ago.. for CPU there is no new update, what I have checked..

    Hey @TheWeetek,

You're mentioning Titanfall 2 now, but I thought this main issue was about SWBF2?
  • hello.

    well as I wrote..

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 or Battlefront 1 even dont launch.

Thats why I installed Titanfall 2 (just some different product, then Star Wars), try to launch - and that works - singleplayer. But when I clicked on multiplayer, I get to Multiplayer screen and then it falls on desktop..

    so I just say that.

@TheWeetek, gotcha. Is it possible that you have overclocked your GPU and/or CPU or memory by any chance?
  • well, that is not probably.. I didnt overclock nothing.

btw games in Xbox app (on PC) works normally..

@TheWeetek, alright. A few posts back I also asked you to perform a clean boot. Have you done this already?

@TheWeetek, alright, that's unfortunate. Do you maybe have a different PC where you can try it on to see if it works?

@TheWeetek, and have you tried to launch the game from the Xbox app, rather than the EA app?
  • in XBOX app - the Titanfall 2 again falls, when I run the multiplayer, after loading the multiplayer screen

in Xbox app - the Star wars battlefront 2 (celebration edition). when I run, it only opens my EA app and nothing happens.

@TheWeetek, you mentioned that you tried something with your Windows Defender & Windows Firewall, but did you also manually made exclusions for the EA app and the game in both programs?
  • well, windows defender contains firewall..(its one app we could say).

i see, the xbox is there, the games are there, the EA app I add there and still the same.. as I wrote, I tried even stop the firewall for some time, unfortunately no change.

usually it should write some message, that firewall denies the app , not just not game running I guess.

    @TheWeetek, hmm, that's unfortunate.

Have you also tried to reset the Xbox app?

    - Click Start and click Settings.
    - Select System.
    - Select Apps & features.
    - Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.
    - Click Reset. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect.

If that didn't work, maybe you can also try to reinstall the Xbox app?

    Uninstall and reinstall Xbox app

    - Click start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
    - Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.
    - Type the following command to uninstall Windows Store: Get-AppxPackage xboxapp | Remove-- AppxPackage
    - Hit Enter.
    - Launch Windows Store again and download Xbox App.
  • i tried reinstalling EA and xbox both , restart PC , install again and nothing happens.

@TheWeetek, that's unfortunate. It seems like not a single troubleshooting step that we offer here via the forums seems to resolve the issues that you're experiencing. It's also unfortunate that you don't have another system to test it on, so we can potentially narrow down the issue.

Have you tried to create a 2nd Windows admin account already & try it via that Windows account?
  • hello. i tried it and it didnt help.

for some reason I was able to run Star Wars battlefront 1 on the primary windows account .. but still i wasnt able to run star wars battlefront 2 or the titanfall 2 multiplayer.

    Hey @TheWeetek,

That's very unfortunate to hear. I'm afraid that it looks like not a single troubleshooting step seems to work for the issue that you're experiencing. And unfortunately you also don't have another device to try it on, so we can maybe exclude some other potential factors.

In this case I think the best thing you can do is trying to get in touch with a PC specialist to let them take a look at your machine, maybe they can figure out if it's something hardware related even, something we cannot really see from this side.

It's an unfortunate situation, but I am afraid that our troubleshooting steps can only do so much.
