I would say the issue for now is given your 10000 failed attempts it is blocked by the fraud algorithm , the account has been referred to another team to get unblocked
They will email you when that has been done

I'm having the same issue with my account. Can't buy anything, says it's an issue with my EA account. I've tried literally everything and nothing seems to work. If you could look into it for me, I would be eternally grateful.

Support can see your a sub now so that is good to hear , seems you have a ticket in the queue as well so i guess they will reply when it gets to an agent

Any information ? Any progress ?
Cus really, ok its blocked, but i paid for the subscription, and money were taken from my cc.
Unblocking didnt seems that problem....

all i know it is still with the relevant team , all your transaction attempts failed so any money if held by the card as pending will be released usually 5 - 7 days
I am having the same issue, subscribed through steam but says im preferred.
SWTOR Name: NitrostolicsOn the swtor.com side it says theres a problem with EA account and I cant subscribe.
I talked to support via phone, sent in screenshots and will be waiting to see what happens.
Emailing them screenshots fixed it, was advised not to renew through steam but directly from website in the future. Not sure why steam option is available if this issue persists

you can renew on steam after this gametime ends if you like
steam purchases fail for 2 reasons usually
1. accounts are not linked prior to purchase
2. swtor or the linked ea account is disabled for purchasing or banned

you will need to call swtor support when the phone lines are open to fix an account issue on that swtor account

Your best bet is to purchase a code , or link your swtor account to steam see https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-on-steam
basiclly install via steam and log in and play a character via steam and log out fully that will ensure the accounts are linked prior to purchase
