Bodyshop terminates [ultimate edition] ~ Solved

I looked all over for an answer to this, I found none. 

The game runs fine, and so does the CAS. But bodyshop suddenly started to terminate. It starts up normally but then halfway through the loading process it just terminates, it does not give me an error message besides 'application will now terminate'.

I tried the clean installer, I tried Deplhy's organiser to see if it might be a mesh, but I don't have a lot of meshes, I like recolors better.

I tried to repair my game and update it through Origin - didn't help.

I tried to assign a different compatibility OS to bodyshop (XP-SP3) didn't help. 

I tried to clear the cache.

I tried to remove every download - didn't work.

I even went so far as to uninstall the game completely and install it again but it didn't solve the problem.

I tried running it as an administrator - didn't help.

I can't come up with anything more to do! I really need it to work! I create content, and so i'm pretty f*ed if bodyshop won't run. 

What is .mpdm files? Would it maybe help to remove those? I can see they are linked to bodyshop. 

I run win 7 (no need for my specs because believe you me, it can run sims - besides bodyshop worked fine for like months and months)

EDIT: I solved my own problem, and figured I would leave the question and the solution that worked for me here. It turned out it was a corrupt saved sim, so if this happens to you, try deleting or removing all your saved sims from the folder and boot up bodyshop.
