@cook2336 , there is a way to launch the game. You have to alter the code yourself and if you own Sims 3, you have to do the same thing to launch it as well. Here is a link to the post in the Sims 3 section that describes the steps to take to allow the game to launch. Sims 2 has several issues as well that required Sim Players help.
