I agree: The relationship based aspirations are really messed up. I'm having problems with the soulmate aspiration as well. (find other post)

I never tried the friends of the world aspiration. However, I noticed that for the social aspiration (when a child) mine need to have the aspiration active when they first make a friend for the friend to count.. So if they made friends while completing mental and then switched, it wouldn't include their chess buddy.

I'm also haveing problems of the "being a parent to a child with three friends" milestone. My kid completed the social aspiration (has 3 kid friends and 2 adult friends; all not family) but that milestone won't complete.
