Are you using mods in your game ?  If so, please remove them

Also have you tried repairing your game ?

They do have a tendency with getting over board with the computer but yours sounds way extreme.

If above doesn't help, are you willing to share your save game ?

I'm used to having to micro-manage my 'little people', but this is just extreme!

I use only an un-censor patch. I've played Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3, seen enough un-pixelated bums and * in my time.

Trying an update now... 16 Sims 4 updates! Have I really brought that many?

While complaining, I decided to try a sim with a different trait... woodworking. Same thing.

Worse, in fact. Everyone and their friend comes round to use the two woodworking benches in my flat.

Make skill bars purchasable with satisfaction points. The more you want, the more expensive they are. Any NPC sim can only have two.

Every skill bar is split into three parts, each part requires a book (theoretical knowledge) and end of term exam (practical application). Children cannot exceed three bars in a skill until the 'age up' exam is passed. Teens 6. Only can a young adult fill a skill bar. No sim can extend the bar until an 'exam' has been passed. The exams should be shown on a plaque that can decorate a wall.

(theoretical knowledge) is a white outline 'ghost bar' that will fade over time if not used.

(practical application) is the green bar that cements a skill in place.

Television is theoretical... team! 🙂 I don't care how many TV programs on sailing you've watched. You're still capable of drowning! 🙂

The exam is the 'unlock' for the next three bars and requires a sim to spend a day at school to sit the exam.

Any sim can learn the first three bars of a skill, it's just not shown as a skill bar unless you buy a bar and start to study, then it counts as a 'super-boost' to the first three bars...

Standard household in Oasis Springs.

If my sim starts a woodworking project and does not complete, the woodworking is left on the skill table. However, another NPS (Non Household Sim?) can then put another lot of woodwork on top, then another on top of that... I've seen five piled deep so far. Sometimes incomplete woodworking projects are dumped into the household inventory (like finished furniture) but they are then worth zero simoleans. They can be moved back to the table, but can only be scrapped.

The NPS sims can start a painting and abandon it, this causes the easel to become unusable. You have to enter buy mode and move the painting to a wall. The painting then has the interaction 'clear easel'...

The computer 'tournament' glitch has returned with sims endlessly starting a games tournament only to abandon it seconds later...

In a house party a hired chef started a meal, abandoned it onto the floor and started another. This was multiplied about four times with all meals dumped on the floor right beside the fridge... 2 meals out of eight attempts? FIRED! 🙂

Don't you know sims are starving? 🙂

I can see what you mean with the woodworking.

I can't duplicate the paintings or the tournament though. Is that on your home computer/home easel ?

The computer one was a different household... I may have deleted it!

The easel bug was this household. I invite the groups Partihaus and Powerhouse over and soon after one of them will start painting. If they finish the painting, you can sell it. If they abandon the painting then the easel becomes unusable. The picture will remain white, with no painting on it...

I've only had it happen about twice, perhaps it could be related to a certain kind of picture they are trying to paint?

... when the picture is white, you can still click on the easel or the picture, but there is no interaction options. The only way to get the interaction options is to enter build mode and pull the picture to a wall. Then the interaction 'clear easel' is on the picture...

Was it a group gathering ?
