Re: Video card problem, Why won't my ATI Radeon HD 4850 Graphics card work with Titanfall?

Hello there!

I had similar problem.

But lets begin from the start...

I get the beta key to Titanfall. For no reason when game start, the window with " Game startup failed because the video card does not support the required features" appers and game crashed after intro movie. So i write a msg to EA customer Support (poland) about that.

After a few days i get answers. They suggest to use that page:

--> http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

to check my pc compatible with titanfall minimal requies and if its pass, final vesion of the game should run because the beta had disable some specific  function... So this is screenshot what systemrequiedlab show me: http://s14.postimg.org/4dn6gdc9t/image.jpg

When i pass that test i buy game... And i stuck here because final vesion crased exacly that same way like beta... i waste money or its really any solution for that problem? I had already newest beta drivers for my video card.

Cheers!  🙂

    I do not trust Systemrequirementslab because it sometimes give false results but looking at your specs you should be able to run the game. It may be a problem on Origins end in how it assesses one system. Now if your OS is 32 bit, Titanfall should not work.

    I don't pretend to know what a Log Report contains, especially not one in a language other than those have have some fluency with.

    I do know that quite a few owners of the HD 4000s had successful results using the drivers modified by the party describing them at Guru3D that I have offered references to (and cautions about), almost cerainly here within this message thread.  .

    @bojatao - Just had a look at the download and its detected some unwanted files!? Did you have any issues!? Also how do I go about installing the drivers when I do download them!? Any help would be great.

    I do not know if you tried this, I used Driver Fusion to wipe my system of it's Video drivers and did not let Windows install any video card drivers. You go to the card's site and DL and install the latest drivers. I let Windows initially DL the drivers and everything was going good until I installed TF and tried to play and it kept telling me my card was not a Directx 10 compatible card. So I wiped out the video card drivers and went to my card site and installed the drivers and it worked. It may work and it may not? Hopefully you will get your card to work.
