Re: I hate roofing too!

@Manachinov

Thanks for the lot. I think I see the issue and a way to work round it. You have to place the roof in small sections rather than just the four pieces you have built. This actually gives greater flexibility with the roofing tool.

Your house straight from the gallery. I have changed the connecting bedroom/bathroom wall to a half wall and the roof shows through (ignore the door):

If you create the roof using lots of separate pieces and no overhang into the rooms you can place the half wall easily with no roof inside:

This gives you an idea of the pieces I used, a mixture of half-hipped and half-gabled:

    @Bluebellflora Yeah. I figured exactly the same thing in the other build I did that has a garbage roof like that too. I can't really do a single roof piece because it makes the corners look off center. So I just made several connections using small pieces like you did.

    In that build. It's also in New Crest so I thought it would be fine to have similar houses around. It still makes the eves stick into the house. So it's not the solution.
    I figured out that the game will sepparate the rooms and not the entire house. That causes the problems with the half walls in place.
