Cottage Living: All Hatchable Eggs Are Roosters
Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? The current version 1.77....something
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All, except Vampires, Batuu and Kit packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm honestly not sure. I've been playing for several hours over a course of 2 days. Wait for hatachable eggs notification, incubate and let it do its thing until the eggs hatch.
What happens when the bug occurs? I've been getting rooster chicks back to back, non stop. I had 4 altogether. I just deleted two of them.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a better variation than what I've been getting. I'm not sure if there's some sort of trick to this or what but it's real annoying, especially since the earlier chick hasn't even aged yet. It's been over 2 sim weeks.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After Cottage Living was released
I've had a variety of chicks be born, mostly hens and a rooster on a different save with the same mods I have. I figured I'd mention that before the finger goes pointing that way. Secondly, ever since I started this new save, I've encountered several glitches more so after the 2nd patch for Cottage Living was released. I've had hatchable eggs disappear and then reappear after I logged out the game and came back. I've had a chick that hatched and never showed up. The freaking cow is only giving me 1 plant based milk while all other bottles are 6 regular bottles of milk, the lag, the toddler walk glitching.... I mean, honestly...
I know. One thing at a time. Ok.
So anyway, idk what's going on with the hen and rooster. I have a white rooster and a brown hen and all the hatchable eggs that I've been given have all been roosters. I had 4 as mentioned above, altogether. Nothing more, nothing less. No hen in between. Just roosters. I'm stressed and they're not even aging. So, I can't even do anything with them right now. I just bought a white hen to see if it'll make a difference. I have to wait and see on that. In a different save, my rooster is not white. I actually can't remember what it is but I know it isn't white and the hen was brown. So, idk if it's stock vary depends on the color of hen/rooster or what. I don't know but I'm at a lost right now.
