[CoL] Gifts from birds do not appear in inventory

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.49
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Most of them, too many to list.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Idk
What happens when the bug occurs? I click on a friendly flock of birds and select take gift offered, the sim does the animation for taking the gift, but nothing appears in my sims inventory or the household inventory.
What do you expect to see? Gifts from birds to appear in the sims inventory.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

My sim was getting cross stitch patterns as gifts from the flock at first but then nothing.

    I deleted that save file and started a new one, haven't had the same issue in any new save files. Might have been patched or was a one time glitch.

    FYI, cross stitch patterns don't appear in your inventory, getting that as a 'gift' just unlocks the sim's ability to make the cross stitch themselves. Is that the only thing you've noticed your sim isn't getting? I've gotten everything else, usually it goes into my sim's personal inventory.

    @MapleSimmer I know. I DID get patterns, but then they stopped giving me anything at all. I clicked to get a gift, she does the animation for getting a gift, theres no notification pop up and nothing in inventory. Idk whats wrong with it.

    I'm also having this issue, sometimes the gifts appear, and sometimes absolutely nothing happens. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, but once it starts happening it happens 80% of the time.

    Ok I did a bit more testing and I realized that only the bird logs that were the darkest color would give gifts properly. If they were any of the other two colors the gifts would not appear.
