Can't interact with object/ can't move stuff in build mode

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know how this came up.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't interact with anything or when I'm in build mode I can't move anything.
What do you expect to see? m When I'm trying to get my sim to do something it won't because I cant interact with anything.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Just out of nowhere, every time I click on something the options that are supposed to pop up never pop up as I can't interact with stuff. And every time I go into build mode I can't move anything. when I click on it it just shows a loading arrow. I don't know what to do please help me!! p.s I play on Xbox.
