@SimGuruRitzyHello, I started new save. I started on short life span. My Sims attended prom but after that prom disappear from calendar on others households. Short life span is 7 days so there should be prom on calendar.

When I set up game to normal life span prom was on calendar only for one Saturday, but it should be 2 or 3 proms on Saturday because there is 21 days life span.

On day where was New Year's Eve (Saturday) was prom not on calendar on short neither on normal life span, it showed only when I complete turned off aging Sims or I set up game on long life span.

I think maybe it is because another event on that thay. Also in game is lot of festivals and only few events from past - love day, naked run, pirate day, lottery, new skill day etc. I almost do not see them. But there is lot of festivals instead - lama market, chicken market, football, cheerleaders etc. It should be something with events on calendar. Because we can not add another event where there is some, but the game should allow more events on one day, because only one event causes this prom (and graduation) problems.
