- @crinrict On Saturdays at 7 pm; I often don't get the pop-up asking if my sims want to go to the prom. It shows up in the calendar (only when aging is turned off). I can have my sims make promposal signs and ask other sims if they want to go to the prom with them. I follow them to school at least once a week and have them attend all their classes. I've also tried traveling to the school and auditorium at least an hour before prom was supposed to start, but that didn't work either. Repairing the game didn't work either.

I finally figured out why prom isn't working for me! My save files are corrupted! I noticed that if I temporarily move all my saves of my current "legacy" families out of my save file and start a new game, prom will work! Whenever I have my "legacy" saves in the save file and start up a new game, prom will not work I absolutely have to take them out! (I hope that makes sense)
I noticed that prom and graduation wouldn't work for me after the July 23rd, 2024 update, right before Lovestruck came out. After that update, I started getting that 123 error whenever I tried to travel to prom. I didn't realize how serious an issue it was, and it saved my game. The next day, I saw the complaints about the 123 error. I always back up my saves and remove my mods before pack updates. I keep my mods up to date, and I use MC Command and a few of Luminpou's mods. I made the horrible mistake of not going back to a previous save before the 123 error started.
I went back to an old save from July 22nd, the day before the update, and prom was working! I feel so terrible that I didn't realize this much sooner. I'd hate to go all the way back to July and redo everything I've done up until now! This makes me not want to play anymore... I've tried removing all the cache and repairing the game. Is there a way to fix these corrupt files, or is it hopeless for me?
