I went on a date I invited a sim too. After I ended the date to check myself, I still couldn’t fine at the restaurant. I deleted the lot, got a new one from the gallery and tried alone and still couldn’t request a seat.

I would like to add after looking though all peoples comments here, it seems its over all platforms from pc, to mac, to xbox, to app, to playstation, not being able to get seated at a table while on a date and for some just going out for a meal, also the sims wants icon,  when asking out your date it does not take it as being done.

so over all we need this fixed as it totally effects the game a lot.

I am having the same issue. My Sims will just be in a group and can be seated fine, however once they are on a date their table is revoked and then they cannot be reseated. They can talk to the host but nothing happens after they do, they are not seated. I have all of the expansions. I do have mods and have removed and readded. I also have attempted a repair with no luck. Any word on a fix for this yet? It needs to be fixed ASAP as it's really affecting game play! ☹️

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to get a table at a restaurant while on a date.

What happens when the bug occurs? Sims talk to the restaurant host and then the interaction panel goes blank and Sims are not seated and cannot dine out.

What do you expect to see? Sims able to get a table at a restaurant and order food. They can only do this when not on a date an only in a group. 

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? I tried it with and without CC, same result

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? After the last update patch

I just saw that the laundry list came out and this issue is not addressed…is dine out just broken??

One month since my last reply, one whole update and an expansion pack came out…and I see nothing has been fixed. Hopefully I can keep playing my game offline, it’s just a shame that I was forced to do the update that messed everything up
