@SeanceLavey I merged your post with the thread for that.

You an find all the known traits that cause issues listed on the first post. There could be more.

For future rebirth: Save the game under a new name before you try and if it fails, just leave without saving.

I do think it should be the right household but I don't know if it causes any more glitches using it. The game makes auto-backups so if you haven't saved too often, you can check if any of those can still be used.

    Please help! Rebirth is not working at all in general for me. I’ve tried to Rebirth to get the burning soul trait after working on 3 sims and they all simply disappear after swimming away and then nothing happens. This is extremely frustrating considering I have many traits on almost all of my sims and it would be so difficult and tedious to try and remove all of them, I’m wondering if there’s any way around fixing this as I was super excited for the rebirth aspect and everything it came with. Already lost one of my favorite sims and don’t want to keep trying if it won’t work. Any suggestions? ☹️

    @juanesminaj Just check for the traits listed on the first page. Come back if it still doesn't work after removing those.

    Is there any fix for this on console that won’t cut off achievements In on my 8th generation with no cheats and don’t want to ruin that now. 

    When I tried to get the baby from manage worlds, it wouldn’t let me tick out of CAS and also the infant didn’t have a trait and it wouldn’t let me pick one.

    @Rzdri I'm not 100% sure but I think trait removal shouldn't affect your achievements as it doesn't need testingcheats.

    Are the achievements per save on console like on PC so you could try if it disables them on a new save for testing ?

    Thank you for your reply unfortunately I couldn’t remove it, even with testing cheats on, it just wouldn’t work lol. If you have any other ideas please let me know. EA better fix these bugs

    Update we got it to work we had to use this command instead we didn’t need testing cheats this worked on Ps5

    traits.remove_trait trait_RomanticSage
