[SOLVED] PC Mass Effect 3 low fps performance issues online, High fps offline fixes issue!!!

Problem- Running an old EA Game Mass Effect 3 (2012) with Low 12fps while connected to internet. Problem appears to be solved by disconnecting from internet/ Unplug Ethernet cable, as I now get at least 60fps. However this won't work for games requiring online functionality/ multiplayer etc.

Before I tried many things- disable origin in game overlay, driver updates, different graphics cards, editing settings in config/ini files, disable v-sync, reinstall game, put in d3dx9.dll file next to main game executable, disable firewall/antivirus, graphics/windows power options to performance, ALL DIDN'T WORK FOR ME.

Managed to completely solve the issue by cleaning my registry files using an inbuilt feature in my antivirus program. I have Bitdefender and I used One-Click Optimizer in my particular case however there are many other programs out there that can do this. Try to look for some well trusted software because beware of those programs that claim to "make your pc faster with just one-click!" as they could be Malware/ Bloatware etc.

Leaving this here for others in future because this isn't a very common problem as it's only with specific games. Had this exact problem on Injustice 2 in past- assumed game was buggy so refunded, but happened again with Mass Effect 3. Could help for Sims 4 too perhaps? Completely untested from me though.

What fixed the problem for me is cleaning my registry files. I used One-Click Optimizer that came with my antivirus program Bitdefender, but there's plenty of other registry cleaning software but make sure it's a legitimate trusted company because there's lots of Malware/Bloatware programs out there.

Not working for me though ☹️ The problem still persist.
