Certain Cheats not Working.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work. Get Together. Get Famous. Cats and Dogs. Vintage Glamour. Laundry Day. Romantic Garden. Toddler Stuff. Jungle Adventure. Strangerville. Vampires. Outdoor Retreat. (I might be forgetting some but I know for certain, I do not have Island Living or Moschino Stuff, whose patches I think are the issue).
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to the cheats bar, enable cheats and then try any skill cheats, the scientist career cheat, or particular trait cheats, like equipping top notch toddler. None of them work.
What happens when the bug occurs? Certain cheats do not work. So far here is a list I have found of the cheats that no longer work in my game. Any stats.set_skill_level major_"" # cheat careers.promote scientist careers.promote detective traits.equip_trait top_notch_toddler traits.equip_trait physicallygifted I've tried doing these multiple ways, like changing major to minor or skill for skill cheats, adding toddler_ or child_ before the trait equips, and the careers cheat I'm just at a loss.
What do you expect to see? Well I expect the cheats to work and promote/demote careers, raise, lower skills, and equip/remove traits.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. This appeared after Island Living. Especially with the whole pause screen and you can't do anything when you have the cheats bar up. (I really hate that, by the way, so please get rid of it). I'm having trouble with the most basic of cheats that used to always work since that expansion pack came out and I don't even have it. It was just the patch that came at the same time.

To be clear on my mod status, I had MCCC command center installed awhile ago but I removed it long before Island Living came out.  And the save I have been playing in is new since I removed the mod.  I also tested some of the cheats in an older save as well.  Same thing.
