@TheGloomySimmer  Please clear Origin's cache:

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

and restart your computer.  You may need to manually repair one more time.

It may also help to disable automatic game updates within Origin.  The option is under Application settings > Application > Client update.
