Re: Sims 4 Crashes to desktop

@simbamboo  There are a number of Origin crashes in your dxdiag (and a lot of Sims 4 crashes, unsurprisingly).  So start by clearing Origin's cache and uninstalling it "the hard way"; this shouldn't affect your installed games.

Download the full Origin installer and run it as an admin: right-click on the download and select "Run as administrator."  This is a direct download link:

Once Origin is installed, repair Sims 4: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

Then try to play.  If the game crashes again, please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether a new save crashes the way your existing one does.  Let me know either way.
