The CC furniture is created based on the EA object from the game. In this furniture, EA places interaction scripts. If CC creator used older versions of EA furniture before the addition "Dogs and cats" then these interactions will not match the current version of the game and the game will not run.

It is not important if you have "Dogs and cats" or not. Patch added these interactions to all the furniture in the game. So if the CC creator used the furniture from before this patch, now you have a problem.
