Nope the people that pay for cheats have ways around hardware bans but it’s so cute when the people cry for hardware bans when they don’t help either there are multiple games that hardware ban that still have cheaters they just have an mmr so that noobs don’t face the cheaters so they don’t think they are there

So isn't game company the most stupid ones, they work their * off to develop those great games then instantly ruined by the Chinese hackers.

There is a large group * ruining everything in this game.
Those * probably don't have a proper living environment, don't have a life, they went to Internet cafes use predownloaded hacks to not only have " fun " but intentionally to became one of those warriors who helped to destroy one of those beautiful gaming worlds.
They are all perfectly peacefully yet intentionally destroying the things other people owns.
If EA don't make strict methods like those Chinese gaming administrations like Netease or Tencent, they will not be able to get control of their own game.

There must be a phone number link and an ID link,
plus hardware ban, and mother board ban,
those 4 procedures would probably all be necessary.

Just now I was searched " Apex Legends Hardware Ban " and found the HQ forum of all weak cheaters.
I found the Apex Legends cheat selling section, and see people claiming their hardware was banned.
How great was that !

Hi guys, I just checked another game cheat forum and found people are discussing this issue from a neutral perspective, I don't know many games but I just learnt that Fortnite uses HWID ban and now got 0 hackers.
Perma hardware ban is a great start. It'll eliminate the average cheater (Those who know nothing about technology and just dropped money on cheat software) though for the more experienced cheater and especially the ones who manufacture these cheats they will no doubt find a way to keep on going.

A phone number link? How exactly would that help with cheaters?
The only thing they can really do more than banning the Mobo ID
is start taking actual legal action against hackers and hacking sites.
Take fortnite for example, hackers were a big deal for awile,
until Epic started taking legal action against them, the hackers
started to back off.
These hackers are 80% stupid kids that want a sense
of power in the game that they themselfs are not
capable of I.E Aiming etc, so they use hacks.
You threaten them with real world consequences
more than just a ban, they will think twice about doing it.

Except EA wants to avoid this, as they themselves are barely hanging on due to the Scam Box Gambling scheme they use. Anything that would attract legal eyes on the product is something EA wants to avoid at all costs.
HWID bans are just to prevent the banned cheater to play/cheat again, and that's good. But I think that much more work has to be done on catching cheaters (new cheaters or even old ones). Played some rounds and had some suspected wallhackers.
On other hand, some videos, even from Twitch, the player looks like running a little faster than normal, maybe some day will do some metrics to those videos.
I'm tired of writting the same things over and over but here we go. The haardware ban has always been in the game. It is written in the freaking TOS and a community manager has already confirmed that since day one certain palyers recieved hardware bans. With that said, hardware ids can be spoofed but it is not easy to spoof all ids. For example it takes 2 minutes to spoof the id of a hard drive and an ssd but it is way harder to spoof the motherboard ip or the radiator ip of a cooling system. Especially in windows 10 that windows request signatures from all installed drivers. That means if they do not confirm the signature of the driver (which they will not when spoofed) they will force install their own version which 99% of times causes crashes.
With that said tech savvy people can run the game in VM and not risk anything (given of course they know how to pass through their GPU to the VM).
That is why we are all saying implement a couple of systems to combat cheating. One of those proposals is the 2-step verification method. Meaning they link a comfirmed mobile number to a unique e-mail address and they recieve a code on their phone that they input everytime they login to play. If they get banned, their number gets banned as well which means next account they make they have to go find a new mobile number to use and if we really want to be extreme they can even register imei of the mobile phone and block the mobile phone device as well. Which will then mean that cheaters will also need a new phone (device) to play after they get banned.
There are methods they can use to combat this, but they are not doing any of those things. Why? Because they spent all their resources creating the pass. Before the pass gets released they will not do anything about the cheaters, because if they do then they risk losing customers and whales.
Well, how much longer will we need to be waiting ?

I don't see Apex packs as a gambling scheme, fact is they tell you
what chances there are of obtaining certain items.
Not knowing the % chance is what would make
it a gamble.
I.E buy 500 packs.. you get the Heirlooms.
Yes they make a crap ton of money from it
but by no means are they scamming or
baiting you into it.

Because its more of a pain to change your phone number. And cost money unlike bypassing a hwid ban which is free.
I would say take them to court, but if they are in china thats not possible. Could also linke credit card numbers, but hell those would be easier, AND CHEAPER, to replace then a phone lol. The same hackers selling them the cheat would sell them a new paypal or credit card number.
I think ranked queue skill matching, hwid bans, court lawsuits, Banning Quitters, and verified phones is all they can do. But I would say do all of the above.
