Stay away from scrips and macros.
EAC is from what I know really strict in automatic inputs even when it's not used for getting an unfair advantage.
When it noticed a pattern it will probably flag you but I'm not a dev so cannot say it for sure.

But what I can say is better safe than sorry 😉

It's a piece of code created by someone on a PC that is triggered when a button is pressed.

For example, you fire on PC via the left mouse button. If you use single-shot weapons or weapons that can be switched to single shot the you have to repeatedly click.

You could set up a macro on your keyboard so that - say - when you when hit 'B' the keyboard sends a 'left mouse button pressed' event ten times much faster than you can click the mouse.

If you get downed by a Hemlock in auto-fire mode, then that player is using a macro.

This is just one example.

Basically automated input. You press the key one time and your Hemlock will turn full-auto lol. It's easily noticeable with it's distinct firing pattern sound.

I have threatened my teammates in the past for using macros, saying 'Better not use it this game or I will record and send it to a dev' 😃

As suggested above, avoid using it.

Doesn't matter the purpose, you're still breaching ToS by using a macro and they'll get you on that technicality lol. x.x

Sorry, didn't realize you scour these forums to hate on people looking for autoclickers and what not, saw you in another post from FEBRUARY (https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Using-macros-on-Apex-Legends/td-p/7544367/page/3). I agree, I hate people that use macros for p2020, hemlock, the works, but if you just go on here to reply with useless things then please leave.

My point was you were given advice not to do it which is common sense, but you responded with "I dont see why it is a big deal." So clearly you want one person to say it's ok so when you get banned you will be able to claim you did nothing wrong. You've probably already done it and are now worried about them finding it.
