Rank and KDR plays no part in SBMM

It it based on X number of recent matches performance. The factors and criteria which is measured is not publicised in case people attempt to exploit it. Not as simple as just only kills/damage either, definitely other things they measure it on!

One thing for sure - Doing 10 suicides by landing off the map is not taken into account and ignored. It works in COD but not in this game.

Stats on banner are misleading because it is per character. They should let you show global stats then they'll see few millions total damage.

    @PeterN_UK There actually is a system in place that does place you in tad lower lobbies if you have few bad games back to back. As for your thoughts on SBMM system it is wrong. It is based via account wide not how many games you play well. The legend it self also plays a factor depending on few checks being made. As I've said is a bit that plays part into SBMM and your assumption is wrong.

    It looks at X number of historic games. But we don't know what factors are taken into account which contributes to a "bad game".

    It is not based completely on kills or KDR alone. They won't release what factors to avoid exploiting. Here is a test if you suicide 20 times you still won't get into a bot lobby. It proves that factor.

    They have not announced the legend chosen is factor of match making.

    They have also not announced it is taken into account what global stats are either.

    At the moment anything is pure speculation. Can only prove what factor is not taken into account which is suicides reverse boosting that 100% is true.

    @PeterN_UK I have figured the major things applied due to 5k games played just testing this system trying to find the flaws and bugs with it I feel could help narrow it down more not checking for certain things. I at level 500 14k games played 20 bomb 4k on 5 legends can place myself in a gimpy lobby. I do not do it once I figured it out I reported my finds and stop doing it.

    The patent may not even be used in this game or maybe just partially used. Maybe used completely who knows.

    Notice one thing in that document. "Engagement"

    You know how you have not played for a day or 2 then first game feels easy? Then next 2-3 games after the lobby has high skilled players.

    "Engagement" takes into considerate how "much" you've played "recently" and not just how "well" you played. Have they used EOMM in this game, maybe if first game of the day every day for a week feels easy then goes sweaty next game.

    It is designed to maintain interest in replaying.

    Too easy all the time - Get bored
    Too hard - Encourage challenge

    After reading the document I think it is genius patent if wrong.

    It works because people are still playing this game and growing in count.

    @PeterN_UK I enjoy challenges the server i am playing literally unplayable lags ,hackers ,server side intentional prediction errors still I am playing...if respawn is not going to fix their server side problems .it will ruin gaming our experience we are playing apex like valorant one shot dead if what ever shield u have got .eg:..in damage log 250 wing damage in 1 hit done.....

    I really want to play on PC. Instead because of cheaters I only use it for single player games.

    Apex just needs SMS or auth app verification per session and bans linked to phone numbers as well. COD did same thing and it worked well as now hackers have to pay for burner numbers temporarily and spend even more money.

    I feel as though a console is an appliance locked to one digital store and one streaming service.

    If PC cheating sorted out sufficiently well then dumping console.

    Dear bro I  am posting my recent performance with Randoms ...Randoms grant victory to  enemy teammate by teaming up with one guy may be their friend during intense fight between second last squad he fires me from behind  and my teammates leave the game & Easy win for him .

    @PeterN_UKKDR definitely plays a part in sbmm. As does premade squad, wins and recent performance. And so does the number of people on the server.
