Unfortunately as that's indicative of a generic GPU crash with extensive TS already attempted on the tech boards, there's not a lot of unique new steps to try and you've taken the standard steps to address it. You may want to try a DDU uninstall, we have had several reports of it helping in the past, but that is an extreme step.
And you may have tried lowering your settings, this reportedly can help with stability. I found an old issue from a couple years ago that suggested *increasing* my settings. I have tried this and no crashes yet but I will keep it updated. Unfortunately this particular occurrence appears to be with the apex legends engine itself (foundational programming) so there may be no way to fix this without some superficial work-around.
I have a relatively new 6600xt with this issue, and have tried reinstalling *and* updating drivers, tried reinstalling other drivers in case there was a conflict. I did notice an odd issue with this in that the crashing in apex has since made my audio driver mess up big time, where it would have identical issues it experiences during the device hung error. Even outside of Apex. The only thing that fixed that is reinstalling the GPU driver (again), and reinstalling my audio driver. It's actually such a nightmare. I want to play Apex quite a lot and I know if I do I have to do all this again so I quite literally can't play the game until this driver error is fixed. I want to see the Trello updated so they can at least acknowledge us and note they are looking into a fix.
Still having an issue, may be something the dev team actually needs to look into
please if there's any way to escalate this... I don't think there's anything I can do on my end that I haven't already done. It's been 2-3 weeks at this point and I'm trying to build a tournament ready team. I can't practice with my squad if this keeps happening...
I’ve tried every solution and none of them do anything. It has to be on your end and it would be nice if you guys actually look into it and work on it instead of pretending it’s the player’s end. My friend had this issue in season 10 and it magically fixed itself season 11. How many seasons and suddenly my gpu isn’t good enough to run the game? When it runs literally every single game other than this fine? Sorry but that’s not very likely.

Okay here I go explaining again so you dont just trying random fixes out there and say "hey! the problem solved!"
first I only experiencing crash with notice 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG [Engine Error].
and then I tried applying fixes available from the internet.
1. updating my VGA card.
2. checking my windows update.
3. cleaning my game directory, and fixing it.
4. cleaning my origin cache.5. cleaning my VGA shader cache.
6. trying the steam "preload cache" on the settings.
7. reinstaling my origin app.
8. Reinstalling my Steam App.
9. reinstalling my apex origin.
10. reinstalling my apex steam.
11. trying to roll back the Adrenaline app.
12. Clean install my VGA driver and adrenaline to latest 22.8.213. trying the TDRlevel and TDRdelay in registry.
14. manualy changing how my GPU handle the shader cache. which is on/amd optimized/off. I choose always On.
15. defraging my drive.
16. chkdsk for errors.17. Trying to find and fix for any broken registry that cause the problem.
18. reinstalling my dxdiag. and checking for the dxcache folder to verify.
19. trying to communicate with EAhelp via twitter (which lead me to here).20. here I am.
so please, I've TRIED EVERYTHING. I'm using RX570 8 GB and AMD 5 2600 with 16 GB ram. Its not the GPU or Processor problem, its the GAME ENGINE that makes my game crash and PC FREEZE. It all started with the 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG [Engine Error], and it escalated into full freeze and I have to restart my pc every time it happen.up until now there are no response from the community manager that the problem are being looked into nor they tried to explain whats going on. and everyone who says "use this, it fixed mine, no error" happened to be users of the later AMD series users with x5000 series.
and so here I am after another pc freeze, hoping the community manager to AT LEAST communicate with us the users of x500 AMD GPU users. are we being ignored and left behind?, why not just say so, "ur graphic card are not supported anymore by our game".communicate please.

nanashi83@nanashi83 Dont waste your time and mess up your registry for a Problem you can't Fix. Weeks ago writing in many threads about this problem, you don't get any answers by ea so dont waste your time on waiting for that either
Update from my side: crash with adrenaline software on 22.8.2 . Could play 6h without crash the day past but today crash.
YOU GUYS SEEM NOT TO CARE ABOUT THE PROBLEM. IF YOU DON'T WANT US TO PLAY THIS GAME ITS FINE DON'T FIX. ITS ALREADY BEEN 8 MONTHS AND HERE WE ARE.
