@Ragarath EA/Respawn can also disable the chat function for people who are repeated offenders of profanity. Problem solved, customer kept. Pings are more than sufficient to communicate with your team. And people who ignore pings are even more likely to ignore the chat.

The amount of times people told me to kill myself, I should just stop existing or that my mother/father should die of cancer in Apex Legends is astonishing, yet I look over it and leap over my shadow because I'm aware that what they say literally should have no impact on my mood.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Unless you throw a dictionary into my face.

    @Peri_Longbow_plz I agree that disabling chat/voice for the person would be a good solution.

    But perhaps EA believes this type of aggressive person would simply lash out in other ways, such as sabotaging the team or harassing teammates somehow. Of course, they could then be reported for sabotaging.
